The poor installers arrived without the provided floorplan, the correct measurements, or the notes discussed with the salesperson. They had the wrong closet door, wrong baseboards, wrong hardware, wrong dimensions. Full marks to the installers, they worked extra in order to fix what they could. Had to have the city inspectors out twice. It turned out the previous remodeller had cheated on the walk-in tub, which extended the build.
The problem is the vanity ordered did no meet what was delivered, and when checked, was insufficient. Unfortunately, I had to be at work when the build was completed, and a relative signed off on the job without checking the results first.
And then Thanksgiving and Christmas arrived, and the matter was let rest until after the holidays.
I realized that the build was closed, so I called Re-Bath to open a NEW build to have the vanity replaced. Instead, I got "these parts are not available. Its not our responsibility. Its your fault, you signed off on the build."
There is this thing called the internet, where you can look these cabinets and parts up?
Its plain that the vanity I want is available.
Re-Bath just does not want to use a different vendor, or spend any effort on customer satisfaction.
Re-Bath might be good for doing just one job at a time, but not a full remodel.
The renovation was divided into two projects. The old door had to be removed and replaced with a much wider pocket door. This involved cutting away about about a foot of the drywall in the hallway to accommodate the wider pocket door. And also required rerouting a three switch panel (which was part of the cutaway area) to another wall. This was accomplished quickly, professionally, and very cleanly in one day. The following day taping, spackeling and painting was done to make the hallway doorway perfectly seamless.
The following week the bathroom was ready for conversion. The two man crew cut the water off and within two hours had the the tub removed, rerouted the the plumbing, and were ready for the construction of the new shower.
All this was done without the usual clouds of construction dust and grit. I have never experienced a demolishion of anything that was done so cleanly before.
The framing of the shower and the installation of the Re-bath Wall coatings went smoothly and efficiently. The workmen took such pride in their work and were so helpful throughout the process I still can't believe it. All the workers in all phases of the renovation from the wall and door people, the painters, electrician, and the actual shower installers worked clean, fast and efficiently, and above all, ON TIME.
They did a great job, but took a long time to complete the job due to materials needing to be ordered.
"This job was completed on time and for the exact price that was contracted. ReBath even did some additional plumbing work at no additional charge. [member name removed] was unhappy when he requested that we scrape the ceiling of the master bathroom and retexture it at no cost in the final days of the project. He understood this drywall work was not in contract and had never been discussed. I did however offer for him to work directly with my drywall sub contractor at my rates. When ReBath finished the project at the agreed upon price, the homeowner informed us that he had been using his inheritance to remodel his home and that he had spent all of the money on tree trimming, a back patio, and hot tub. Therefor, he no longer had the money to pay the balance of the bathroom remodel invoice. ReBath was able to set up financing for him through one of our financial partners which fit within his budget. The homeowners were very appreciative of this service. The large custom shower that was installed has a comprehensive warranty covering the products and plumbing fixtures for as long as they own the home. Also, the original contract stated a 4-6 week wait time between contract signing and start of work. This is due to the custom nature of the products. In this case we manufactured a 100"x34" custom solid surface shower pan as well as new cabinets and custom counter tops. All of these details were discussed and agreed upon when the contract was signed. Should any issues ever arise with this shower, please do not hesitate to call as we would be happy to serve you and honor the warranty. We do appreciate your business and pride ourselves on fulfilling our contracts with our customers."
