Shower Doors of Dallas

We had high hopes based on the reviews we read but unfortunately the overall experience fell way short. My husband researched multiple glass companies and ultimately decided on Shower Doors of Dallas. They came out to measure and they gentleman was very professional and specific. He mentioned a wider area where the glass panel would meet the tile and told us that he would account for that to ensure that the silicone beading would be even. He said the details were important to him. A couple of weeks later the installers showed up and when drilling into the tile where the bracket would attach, the tile broke. Shower Doors of Dallas recommended The Grout Dr to repair the broken tile and rescheduled the install. It took a week for the Grout Dr to arrive and while attempting to remove the cracked tile, they knocked a hole in the green sheet rock. It then took an additional day 3 days for that to be repaired. Shower Doors of Dallas came back out to install again, now at 4 weeks into the process and began the install. This time the drilling was fine. They attached the glass panel to the tile and due to a new tile being installed, the measurements were off. The newly installed tile was sitting slightly different from the initial measurement which resulted in a silicone beading that was less than desirable. There is a section that is wide and the rest looks normal. I was completely unhappy about the details. We were promised attention to detail and wound up with a sloppy finished product that my husband could have done with his friends. I expected professional meticulous work and not a handy man job. Shower Doors offered to begin again but after 5 weeks of not having a guest bathroom accessible for our guest to use, we decided to decline. It would have taken an additional 2-3 weeks for a new panel to arrive and then chance reliving the nightmare all over again. I understand that things happen but the overall experience was not at all what I expected.

As most of the reviews for Shower Doors of Dallas say, our experience with them was fantastic from the first call to get an estimate to the day Juan and Ray installed it. Everyone there is friendly, courteous and professional. They show up when they say they will. Their quality and design options are outstanding! They are so good, this was our second time to use them, and they will be the only company I will call next time I need a new shower enclosure.

We had our shower remodeled due to a leak in the pan. The last thing to go in was the glass. Our contractor said that he typically used Binswanger Glass. So, we paid a visit to Binswanger, and were underwhelmed with their knowledge and choice of glass and configurations. As we did use Shower Doors of Dallas for shower glass in prior years (2011 and 2013), we know already their quality. So in visiting Shower Doors, Brandon gave us a configuration that we were looking for, with plenty of options. We selected Shower Doors, and glad we did...the doors were installed a few days ago, and we think they did a great job. Would recommend Shower Doors over any other glass company.

Wonderful customer service and excellent communication throughout the process from start to finish. These guys are very transparent if they are running late and keep you updated as they are able. They called me well before their scheduled time to let me know when to expect them and were early for the initial install. Unfortunately, taking down the old door took longer than the scheduler had anticipated. I had a dentist appointment I needed to leave for before they were finished sealing everything, but they did arrange for installers to come back and finish the last 15-20 minutes worth of work. This time they were running quite a bit behind and called me frequently (even before my time) with updates to make sure the timing would still be okay. The door is beautiful, and we love it! We went with the ShowerGuard coated glass.

The company was extremely responsive via email and phone calls, and the workers showed up when scheduled and completed the job within the stated time frame. We opted for the additional cost of the Shower Guard doors to help with maintenance. The enclosure looks beautiful and so far has been water tight. We are pleased with the results.

They were quick to respond to my initial email and good about following up to see if I had additional questions. I got several quotes and they are not the least expensive. However, they do price match, and once I was ready to purchase, they were very helpful. The installation was easy and professional. I would recommend them!

Received an estimate and approved the work on the first visit. The work was performed 3 weeks later after they received the ordered parts. We are very happy with the results. It made a huge difference.

Everything went great. The measurements were done on the new shower stall and then it was just a wait of 2-3 weeks for the enclosure to be created. I got a framed glass instead of frameless, with chrome instead of the brass that was original. Installation went up quickly. Julio and Brandon did a super job.

Great work. I thought the price was a bit high but it's probably about what others charge. Great install and it looks super!

Went great and turned out better than expected.

Didn't even make the appointment for the measurement. Late, and when I called Jason to let him know time was getting tight, rather than calling me to let me know when he would be arriving so I could see if the time would still work out, he just had dispatch call and reschedule me for the next week. I know this is weird, but I live in a world where 9AM means 9AM, not some time after 9. Staff was completely unfazed when I told them I would go elsewhere. Cannot recommend these guys at all.

Went excellent. The estimate guy was on time, quick with the work, double checked his measurements and applied my discounts without my having to mention them. The installers were running a little behind but they called and kept me informed. Very polite and informative. Did a great job installing and making sure I understood my door and upkeep. The customer service reps did an excellent job of making sure I knew when my appts were and keeping me informed. Couldn't be happier!!

Awesome! From their on-line measuring/quoting system to their sales and installation team, they were fantastic. Having good measurements is a must when getting the quote. When they came out and measured, it was spot on to the quoted price. Also, their on-line quoting system will produce a CAD drawing of your enclosure so you can visualize what it will look like. They came out and measured on schedule and were able to move up the installation schedule as well. We love the new enclosure.

Very well! The salesman, Keith, was very professional and gave me all the information I needed. Their pricing is in line with other companies, but Keith's professionalism sealed the deal. The only suggestion for improvement is that the office needs to ensure they call and schedule installations when the shower doors are ready - I had to call in to see if my door was ready, it was, and installation was scheduled.

The quality of work is excellent. The price is a bit higher than some other vendor but it is reasonable. Waiting is a bit longer than estimated for the glass to be ready.

They were awesome to work with! Everyone was professional and knew what they were doing, from the man that came out to measure to the men who did the install. Rebecca was especially great - she followed up and did a great job communicating details along the way.

They were very competitive. He was very professional and nice. He did a great job of clean up. The office people were nice too.

Once the crew removed the old frame, they did all they could to try and remove some old paint that had gotten stuck into the cultured marble walls. They were very thoughtful and asked if we wanted them to install the new semi-frameless shower frame even though some of the paint was still visible. They acknowledged that they were not shower refinishers but gave a recommendation of a company (All Surface Finishing) that could do the work. So we had All Surface come out and get the walls beautiful again, then Shower Doors came back at no extra charge to finish the job. The frame looks great, was installed well, and my wife is loving the clean shower. Would recommend Shower Doors.

They were reasonably responsive to the RFQ, between their website and calling. One was for a tub and one a regular shower. Both frameless. Showed up when scheduled for both measurements and installations, but one piece of glass was incorrectly cut from factory. They prepped for the glass and installed later. When a flaw was found in the factory glass, they promptly reordered and replaced. Since glass is custom made from factory, it takes a couple of weeks. When they were replacing, they noticed that I had had problems with a bath mirror frame and they volunteered to correct the problem and install - and did a great job.
