My review of RestoPros will address the two different parts of the company as we have had extensive experience with both the remediation and the remodeling sides of the company. At the onset, I will express that both experiences, while not perfect, were fantastic. Also, let me explain that I do not trust anyone, am not easily pleased, nor am I easy to work with. Everyone at RestoPros will tell you the same. We had to have our house totally remediated. Our entire 3000 square foot home had to undergo mold remediation and remodeling. We wanted to hire a local company, read reviews and tried RestoPros. Mike Parkey came out and explained the process. I liked Mike immediately. I trusted him and that isn’t an easy task. RestoPros crew came out and the mold remediation process started. It was a long, long process. We were out of our house for over a month. There were some minor issues with damage that the mold remediation crew made to our house, but RestoPros took care of it. Not only did the repair the damages, but they addressed the employee for trying to hide the damages. There were times when I doubted the quality of the job the crew was doing. Mike was always transparent. He always addressed me with respect and validated my concerns. That meant a lot to me and was the first clue that I was working with a GOOD company. Mike ALWAYS took our calls…ALWAYS. Even if he knew I was upset. I realize I’m using absolutes (always), but that is our experience. I could rely on Mike. In the end, Mike Parkey is the reason why we decided to continue using RestoPros for our remodel. After the remediation, our house was still in shambles. We needed to put walls back together, replace toilets, replace tile, and replace all hardwood floors. We met with Cody. At first, I wasn’t sure about Cody. (Remember, I don’t trust anyone). But, I knew RestoPros hired good people so I let Cody ride on Mike’s good graces. Cody has been working with us for over a year. And in that time, I’ve grown to admire, appreciate, and trust Cody. Throughout our nightmare, and it has been a nightmare from start to finish, Cody has been by our side. He’s very responsive to text and phone calls. I’ve had a few challenges with the crews, but the remodel (sheet rock, paint) guys were FANTASTIC. Cody was our biggest ally in this process. Where RestoPros shines is in accountability. The flooring contractor they hired was terrible. Not only is he a thief, he is a terrible person. He took our money for flooring and we never saw floors. RestoPros solution was to go out and purchase the entire flooring, and deal with the contractor in court. RestoPros took a HUGE loss to make it right for us, the customer. After that, I can wholeheartedly say that RestoPros is a company I trust and would recommend. Overall, no one is perfect. Mistakes are forgiveable, but lack of responsibility is NOT. Throughout our entire ordeal RestoPros (Cody and Mike) always did the right thing. It wasn’t easy for anyone involved, but in the end I trust RestoPros. I was very pleased with the work. It was done to my specifications in a timely manner. They have also followed up any work I have requested.

One word, horrible. Not only did they fail 3 times for retesting, the employees took more breaks than work being performed. Their equipment sprayed water causing further damage to our house. The owner, after failing twice, started to make excuses about our crawl space even though they also failed testing on the inside portion as well. I was also informed by the mold inspection company that if Restopros would simply follow the written remediation protocol they should have no issues passing the testing. The owner agreed to repair the damage that was caused by his equipment, however he sent his crew out one day to "complete" the work, but instead they came and picked up their equipment and disappeared. The worst part about this scenario is the owner told me they were coming to complete the job, however he went against his word and weasled his way out of our house and left us, my wife, 2 year old baby and sick elderly mother in law with a mold infested house, which I made very clear to him our situation. Since this company disappeared, I personally have successfully remediated our mold issue by myself and tgere has been zero regrowth. I also have passed testing, which the mold inspection company stated they will put my name down as a preferred contractor, which is a joke of course, but after dealing with this unethical joke Restopros, it made light of a horrible experience with Restopros. Take it from our experience, this company cares about one thing and one thing only, that's money. They have zero regard for small children or sick elderly people, only money. In fact I was told by the owner himself that they were losing too much money on our job and I believe this is why this unethical owner left us high and dry because he cares for nothing but his wallet and not you or your families well being. I hope this review helps dissuade you from considering this company, I have also submitted a complaint with the BBB and will post reviews everywhere I can. I have also been in contact with the health department regarding the conduct and lack of concern with such a serious issue when it comes to human life.

RestoPros Mold Remediation crew was prompt, professional and efficient. The Rebuild contractors were just the opposite. They not only went through our personal items, including our fridge and laundry room, they also did a terrible job of rebuilding our home, and certainly didn't "restore it to its pre-loss condition." A couple of weeks after the job was completed, we noticed the following: 1) The paint on the doors they replaced started peeling off. 2) The paint on the walls they rebuilt started peeling. We also noticed they used what appears to be a chalky primer and not paint at all. 3) They hung one of the new doors improperly and it won't open and close correctly. 4) Another new door had deep scratches in the glass along the top. On February 21st, we took pictures and brought all of this up with the Contractor who did the work. We also brought it up with our RestoPros Sales/Account Rep. The Rep came out and looked at everything and agreed that the work done on our house was of poor quality and not up to RestoPros standards. Still, he did nothing to resolve the issue except put us back in touch with the contractor. The contractor gave us the runaround. He would schedule a time to come make the repairs and then not show up. These are the times we've attempted to contact him: May 8, May 17, June 6, June 14. These are the times they said they would come out, but stood us up: March 24 (no show), June 16 (no show), June 29 (no show). Nearly every time, we were the ones tracking down the contractor, contacting him, reminding him and then following up when he didn't show. The Sales/Account Reps at RestoPros are just as bad and unresponsive, even as we went higher up the chain of command. In our most recent interaction with the Director of Operations on July 11, 2017, he told us that they were "above max capacity" and that it would be another 2 to 3 weeks before they could get anyone out to fix the job. This is a job they should have completed in February. We are fed up with RestoPros and their horrible customer service. We've been attempting to resolve this for 5 months and are still getting nowhere. At this point, we wish they would just refund us the cost of the rebuild so we can hire someone else to get the job done right. **Update: the company came out and fixed what was incomplete and job has now been completed. 8/19/2017

PHENOMENAL!!!  these guys did an outstanding job, from responsiveness to price to quality of work.  across the board, I could not be happier.  I hope to never have to use a mold remediation company again, but if I do, they'll be my only call.

The process went exactly as RestoPros said it would.  They are responsive and very reasonable on pricing.

The job took three full days.  The crew chief kept me well-informed of everything going on.  He emailed me pictures of the various affected areas and what was being done in the remediation.  We passed inspection a few days afterwards and a two-man crew came to our house and collected the equipment, including scrubbers which keep the air clean within the treated areas.  We are happy with the results of the work that RestoPro did.  When it turned out that less of the wall had to be taken out and treated for mold than anticipated, the company reduced the charges that were in the original estimate.  My wife and I feel that this company is honest and looks out for the customers' welfare.

Easy to work with from the initial inspection to create a quote through to all the remediation work. No hard sell, spent time with us to explain what was going to happen. By far the best of the of the 4 companies we contacted for quotes (and the most reasonably priced).
Also the most responsive of the 4 companies - gave us an initial quote within a day of getting the mold assessor's report and didn't change it much when they actually inspected our house.  In contrast it took one of the other companies more than a week to come an visit and yet another about a week to create a quote...  (we just wanted our house back, so we wanted to move things along - Restopros got that).
  
Our mold assessor also liked their work - he hadn't seen them before but told us that he was impressed.

All the work was done with as little disruption to us as possible and as fast as the drying process allowed. They were also flexible to work around both our schedule and the rainiest spring North Texas has had in a long while.

They discovered that some extra work and equipment was needed as they proceeded (more drying equipment for instance because a. our house was very wet and b. we had the rainiest Spring in living memory so we had Houston-like humidity).  None of these produced a request for a change order to increase the price.  

And they were the only company of the 4 who could do the whole job - the others either had to contract out ventilation duct cleaning or would not even quote for it at all.

And did I mention that their price was the most competitive?  It was.
