Talk with the Escrow Officer in advance and let the Escrow Officer know that you are making the decision on the Title Company for your refinance. That will encourage the Escrow Officer to watch out for your interestes and help get the lender to meet the loan closing deadlines. The cost will be the same, but now YOU get improved service.
