Pappy's Pet Lodge

The dogs seemed happy when we got home. I especially liked being able to check on them with the web cam.

Stephanie went above and beyond what I have found at other boarding facilities. Our 11 pound mixed breed squeakers was having a hard time adjusting to being boarded and Stephane (and Kelley) took the time and care to make sure she stayed healthy and happy as could be. I appreciated the texts and emails to update me on how she was doing since at one point they were considering transporting her to a vet for care. But with their extra special care, a vet visit was avoided and we could continue our vacation without worrying ( too much) about our baby. We will definitely use Pappys Pet Lodge in Richardson again for all on our boarding and grooming needs.

Denver is treated very well by the staff. He was there while we took a vacation, he was boarded, ate well (all of his food, so I know he wasn't stressed out), played with others in daycare and had a groom on his last day before we picked him up.
We have been using Misty for his grooming for about a year, we really like what she does with Denver's hair.

They are amazing. The facility is clean. I had been to another day care/boarding facility and the difference in just the wonderful smell when I walked into Pappy's was amazing. The staff is very courteous, professional and truly care about the dogs. They spend time with them during their play time and interact with them. They have a morning play time, nap time, and then an afternoon play time. I think this is great. My dog loves this place. She is very active and energetic and she has so much fun. The staff lets me know how her day went (my dog's name is Bella) and if there were any problems. Bella can't wait to get in the door. They have webcams in the play areas and in some of the boarding areas, which is great for just checking in during the day. I boarded Bella there once when I had a short trip to make, and was able to see how she did during the evening and the next morning. That made me feel very good about her staying overnight. Their groomers are excellent. Bella has been groomed twice - the first time she got "the works" and the second time had her nails trimmed and buffed (they are very long and sharp). Both times she reacted very well and the groomers were very patient with her.
II would highly recommend Pappy's to anyone that needs day care, boarding or just grooming. Their prices are reasonable and if you sign up for 10 or more day care sessions, you are given a substantial discount. Very clean, staff is wonderful and service is unbeatable.
