WE HIRED OSCAR GAYTAN ON 1/29/18 TO BUILD A POOL HOUSE IN OUR BACK YARD. WE GAVE HIM A $5000,00 CASH DEPOSIT, AND THEN CALLED THE NEXT DAY TO CANCEL PROJECT AFTER RECEIVING INVOICE BECAUSE THE INVOICE WAS MUCH HIGHER THAN WE HAD ORGINALLY DISCUSSED AND WE DID NOT HAVE FUNDING FOR THAT AMOUNT. OSCAR STATED THAT HE WOULD RETURN THE DEPOSIT, BUT WE HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HIM SINCE, DESPITE MANY PHONE CALLS AND MESSAGES LEFT BY US TO HIM AND HIS WIFE, WHO IS HIS OFFICE MANAGER

We hired OMG for the job. Worst decision we have EVER made! We're currently going on week 6 and NOT ONE room in our entire 3400 sq. ft. home has been completed. His entire team is a disaster. His wife Margarita never shows up when she says she will, Jesse in his "billing" department consistently sends incorrect invoices, often adding charges that were not agreed upon, to also include failing to provide all paid receipts. Oscar, the owner of OMG made BIG promises and couldn't follow through with one of them. We paid over $25,000 for work and he walked off the job after only completing 1/4 of the work. Oscar even had the nerve to call my husband a "motherf*cker" before he left. We have 3 little kids ages 6, 7 and 8 and we had to fly them to their grandparents because our home is now no place for children. We are constantly finding razor blades, screws and nails throughout our home. Before Oscar started we had $30,000 worth of beautiful hardwood floors installed. Since having Oscars guys come through we now have to refinish our floors. We have multiple scratches and paint all over! We have filed a complaint with the City of Plano, contacted the media, The Better Business Bureau and our attorney. OMG failed to pull permits when required. Our mission is to make sure OMG Remodeling and Renovations will never be able to work in this city again. After performing some research, we discovered that we weren't OMG's only victims and this company has operated under other names in the past according to the BBB. It is too bad we can't post all of our pictures and videos so you can see exactly what we have been going through! The photos posted were taken the day Oscar and his crew walked off the job. I CAN NOT WARN YOU ENOUGH TO NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY! PLEASE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKE AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE.

"Dear [Member Name Removed], This post does not surprise me at all, You and I know that all of what is here in this review is so untrue and unfair, I have emails of all invoices sent to you where you agreed upon and signed, Oscar most certainty walked off the job rightfully so..I have all the text messages Mr [Member Name Removed] sent to our worker talking bad and asking him to keep it between them, also I have text messages where you all went behind our backs and tried to get cheaper quotes from the extra guys we brought in. I have statements from everyone stating how uncomfortable you and Mr [Member Name Removed] made them feel and Mrs [Member Name Removed] you are the one whom scraped all of the cabinets which were not on any of the quotes!! Mr [Member Name Removed] himself told me the house was coming together beautifully and to not worry because his wife was OCD but that he was very happy.. The guys were very stressed working there especially when he yelled at one of our guys instead of addressing it to me directly. I also have a text message after your husband yelled that he has more power than us because he is a US Marshall I'm assuming? I text you guys asking if I can meet with you both and I got no response. Please make a note to yourself that if you have any remodeling to be done the house will be a big mess and it will not ever be finished when the original work order keeps being changed over and over also $25,000 pretty much all went back into your home, granite, custom cabinets Island etc...make note also that if slandering our business is your mission like the text message I received from Mr [Member Name Removed] stating that he will make it his mission to do so we are not at all worried we are very confident on the service we provide we have a lot of referrals and steady work that is not from BBB sources or Angie's List most of our jobs come from word of mouth we will stay in business and move forward."

It didn't. They left the job after pouring some of the concrete in but not all. My neighbor's side yard which we share is a complete mess and the cement blocks were never put in .
