Jay is very friendly and easy going. Domingo was quiet and productive. The job got started and completed with the promised two-week timeframe. The kitchen floor and backsplash look good. The cabinets look okay - they are decent, but could have been done better. I pay close attention to detail, and you can see small areas where the paint is not smooth from spraying the paint on. I did mention this initially to Jay and he had the cabinets sanded and painted over with a brush. This helped, but since I have been back to using my kitchen fully, I still notice areas that were not smoothed out. I had my kitchen pantry door painted afterwards by my painter, and it is completely smooth. I wish my cabinets looked the same. Don't get me wrong, they don't look bad, but a little more attention to detail could have helped. I also feel like on the last day things were a little rushed. Last minute paint on the trim could have used a second coat. They also could have cleaned up after it was all complete. Now granted, they were trying to meet my deadline as I had guests over for Easter and they were finishing up on Good Friday, however, I've never had work done before and had to completely clean up everything myself. I was happy that Jay came back late that night to fix my electrical outlets that were not wired correctly. He didn't have to do that since that wasn't part of the initial contract, but I appreciate that he did. Overall, the work was good. I've gotten compliments on how everything came together. Moving forward, I think more attention to detail and cleanliness could help. I have some bathroom projects that need to be completed in he future. I won't rule Jay out, but will consider other options as well due to the things mentioned above and price.

He installed weather stripping on 2 doors, and helped caulk 5 windows in the house. He was prompt and quick with the work, overall it cost $200  ($150 for labor, + $50 for materials). He is generally negotiable and pretty easy to talk to. He has also done multiple jobs for me in the past (bathroom repairs/upgrades).
