Overall, it went very, very well. We got off to a bit of a rocky start when the first attempt to fix the leak didn't work, and then I couldn't get ahold of anyone for a couple of days. Naturally I got upset at this. But after talking with the owner -- who explained some unfortunate circumstances (his own illness and a trip out of town for an employee) that occurred -- I understood. From that point on, they did literally everything they could do to make us happy, and they did. My disappointment turned into appreciation because they took a negative and flipped it completely into a positive, and came out 3 more times to ensure they got the work done right, while asking for no additional money. Very impressive.

Without rebuilding the patio cover completely, we did what we could.. without just gobbing tons of stuff up there and making it look crappy. Glad that things came out well. The person responded to my request with a detailed phone call to understand the problems, came the next day to inspect the roof and provided a quote that's very competitive to what others offered. He and his guy came on the scheduled date and did the job perfectly. I'd use them again.

Tom and his assistant from J's Roofing did all of the work. He gave me a free estimate for the work before I purchased the house, and it was easy to schedule with him to do the work immediately after closing. He was easy to work with and did a good job. He was even willing to do a few extra things that I didn't ask for when scheduling. Tom spent a day and a half working on the list of jobs that I asked for. I thought the price was great for the amount of work he did. The only thing I didn't like about working with Tom was that he was vague about what time he would be able to arrive and begin the work. I would definitely recommend him.

About the arrival times, we confirm with clients up front that arrival/departure times may vary due to: weather, traffic, schedules, etc. and make sure that you are ok with that. (within reason of course) We do not have any true salesmen as all of us are hands on technicians, doing the work ourselves. BUT, if you want arrival times specified or outlined, we are happy to accommodate that/those as well. Again though, good bad or indifferent, we welcome all feedback and suggestions. Thanks again."
