They did a great job.

They’re not awful, but I still have ants.

I don’t mind spiders, but the mean fire ants hurts when they bite. I think it’s about $120/$150 every time they come out and they come out quarterly. It’s pest control, it’s not super exciting. They are always very courteous when they come out. We asked for a recommendation and we went with them without doing any kind of comparison. We still have ants, but they’re outside. It’s just like when I try to dust off the patio, my husband’s like, “really, they’re just going to come back!” I just like my space to be clean. They always show up once a quarter. I have been using them for probably about 6 years.

We hired HomeTeam to come out and do our initial pest treatment.  The technician walked around the perimeter of the home with me and showed me various issues that he would treat.  He also confirmed with me the areas inside the home that would be treated (he did this before doing the treatment and inquired as to whether we had kids/pets or were expecting, which I really appreciated).  He was very friendly and professional, and the cost was exactly as we were quoted.  After they did their initial service, we noticed a wasp problem about a month or so later.  I called them and they sent the technician out immediately to treat that issue (and they do not charge for addressing issues like this between the quarterly services).  The technician has been back out for our second treatment and not only remembered my name, but my dog's as well (he even had a treat for him when he came to the door).  We have been very happy with their work.

Great service and advice on areas they find to keep pests out of the house. Just had their first service and was very impressed.

When I moved to a new home and called to cancel the service at my old house...they refused.  Their agent told me "we are not authorized to cancel your account...it has to be approved by a customer service manager." What??? So after going through several hoops of phone tag to speak with the manager...I am finally able to get service cancelled at the first house (which, coincidently...I learned I was paying too much...the reason for sending all cancellations through the service manager, and apparently they get a lot of them...is that's when they negotiate a lower price with you).Then...I tried to get service started at my new house.  A simple request?
NO! Although the ports are all outside...and they never stepped foot in my previous house always servicing it from the outside...they demanded an "inspection of my home." And such is only available when it's convenient to them...they literally expect you to stay home from work to wait all day for their guy. I asked why...this is a brand new house and I can attest to and/or take the risk that there are no rodents in it...turns out the only reason they need you home is to do a sales job. Specifically to sell you a termite policy...even if you don't want that.  They said it was okay if I declined additional services but a home inspection is "the only way the contract can be signed" as if there is no Internet, email, fax or mail. So...I called trying to give them my money, to help them realize the business
purpose of installing this system in new construction in the first place...and they gave me hassle, policy, bureauracy, and run around.
In short...if you don't deal with these people...get on the auto plan where they come out and charge your card...you'll probably be alright (other than being price gouged). But any dealings beyond that raise serious questions as to their business model.

We called them out to perform their quarterly service and they arrived at the time they said. The guy that came out was courteous and friendly and did his job quickly.  We are pleased and will continue to use them.

They've been amazing so far. We had them start day 2 after the house was signed for. It's $90 a quarter. They're pretty reliable and they're pretty good at what they do. They've been very courteous every time we corresponded with them. We are still using them.

We have been using them for thirty years.  We have not had them inside our home in years because they treat around the perimeter of our home and they have set up two termite stations outside of our home.  They have always been fantastic.  We pay them monthly and that is including the termite stations.  We have two services on is for the pests and the other for the termite stations.  They service and check the stations once a quarter, and we have had no problems.  The price is very reasonable and the quality of work is great. 

They were able to resolve the issue. It was an unusual situation. They did an excellent job with coming back and explained things effectively. They are really "Johnny on the Spot" about coming out when needed. I had a wasp problem more recently and they came out right away to address it. We have had absolutely no complaints with their service. They are better than other providers I have used.

They are very good. They call ahead.  They come on time. They do what they are supposed to do.

We started seeing some small winged bugs that looked like termintes in our kitchen area.  I called HomeTeam who we have a termite service contract with and asked if they would send someone out to inspect for termites. The lady scheduled a technician and graciously changed the appointment twice at our request.
The technician Dallas showed up exactly at the scheduled time with coverings on his shoes.  He took one look at the bugs that we presented him and told us they were not termites but some kind of ant, and not the wood-chewing type.  He then educated us on the difference in termites and ants which was most interesting.  Did you know that a ant's body is divided up into sections and have a waist whereas a termite has one continuous body.  (my translation of what Dallas told us.)  Dallas was most informative and very nice to work with.  Clearly very knowledgeable of insects, their habits and treatment.  Not having seen a lot of the creatures we decided not to have the house treated at this time.
There was no charge and Dallas proceeded on to his next call.

The company was very professional by phone and person. They explained the process and did exactly as they told us. They were very friendly.

Home Team Pest Defense had been treating our home for Carpenter Ants since approximately November 2011 until I terminated their service in May 2012.

Our windows would continuous be full of webs and "droppings" of the ants,  Home Team would dispatch a technician and the area would be treated, but in just a few days, evidence of carpenter ants would reappear.

On May 5, 2012 , was the date of last treatment for carpenter ants and the Pest Control manager Daniel Davis declared, "The ants had been taken care of." 

However, this was not true, because within a week witnessed live ants in the "treated area." 

At this point, we changed pest control companies to Safe Pro, and after the first application, supposedly dead ants "boiled" out of the treated area.  This treatment worked because no evidence of carpenter ants has been see since, now going on 10 months.

 When I called Home Team Pest Defense to tell them we had changed pest control companies and had witnessed immediate effects with the new company's treatment, Manager Daniel Davis said that we still owed for the May 5th application.  I asked how he could possibly request payment when, after not seeing any results over the last 6-month period, (with an attitude) he said, "Payment for services rendered."  He did not apologize for being ineffective, or try to appease the situation.  I would not refer anyone to Home Team Pest Defense.

If you want just a run-of-the-mill pest company hire Home Team but watch out if you have any problems.  They do not back up their work.

They are great.  I got their name from our home buying kit.  They are pretty good and they come quarterly.  They always do a good job when they come and let me know if there is anything that I need to take care of.

Their quarterly service is very thorough.  If we have a need to call them due to reappearance of spiders or other pests., they respond promptly.

I spent $95 each quarter and that is great. If I have problems in-between, if I have seen spiders for instance they will come out and service, even if it is not time to come out. If I see ants in my yard, they will come out service that. When I know that they are coming on schedule maintenance and if there are fire ants or something like that, they will bring special stuff to put for that. My dad used them before he passed away, so I continued using them and they are fantastic. The people that come out and do the service are very responsible and kind and it has been the same gentleman since I moved to Carrolton. They leave notes with the bill telling me what kind of services they performed.

Talked to five different termite extermination companies before going with Collin. They were the most knowledgeable. Some of the others were only going to do rodding around the house as opposed to trenching.
