Hometeam Roofing did a great job. Dan, their sales rep., is honest, trustworthy and good at communicating. He met and worked with our insurance adjuster. He was onsite when needed, made the job run smoothly and kept us informed. Their post job clean up was excellent. A very professional and customer centered experience. I would recommend Hometeam, Dan and his crew in a heart beat.

they did a great job. this is the 2nd roof they have put on for us. the owner was very responsive and would always call me back, especially during their busy seasons. (Price = n/a, due to them going through our insurance)

Beware! This company is a bootlegger. According to the owner he NEVER gets a municipal permit for his contract with more than 1000 roofs replaced since 2004. This is an illegal practice and I had them flagged within the city of PLANO. I also called Angie's list and alerted them to this fact so that they would be removed from their recommended list. This has not occurred and as a result I will be dropping my membership. I insisted that they acquire a permit which they did AFTER the work was performed. They damaged an expensive window, a pressure equalizer for a slow drip system and my new then new Polaris pool cleaner. I had 6200 square feet of class 4 impact resistant roofing and new gutters along with new attic vets installed. Their work was horrible with them failing inspection due to two of my three heating system exhaust pipes hitting the roofing plywood causing a fire hazard. They were not able to fix the problem and I had my AC/heat tech make the adjustment. The two bright pints: 1) The project manager who even went skin diving in my pool to clean out the massive amount of debris that the roofing subcontractor left. (they did not cover the pool on days 2 through 4), but he seemed unable to control any portion of the roofing situation. 2) The gutter sub-contractor, that not only did their job well, but tried to clean the hundreds of nails left by the roofers and even caulked some of the cracks in the fascia board caused by the roofers walking in the gutters.

Fast and easy.  I would recommend them.  They worked well with our insurance. 

These folks are outstanding!  They looked at our roof on our home and had my husband come up to look at the hail damage that had been done that we weren't aware of.  They helped us work with our insurance to file a claim and when the adjuster came out to do the inspection they were right there with him.  Once we received the report from the insurance company they were ready to go to work.  We had our home and office roofs replaced.  Additionally, they replaced the metal roofs on our 5 metal building that now look better than ever!   We love the guys and would recommend them to anyone!

The work they did was good, the only thing I didn't like was they had to contract out for the gutters. But they did go above and beyond in the job. The contractor was always available but it just took some time for the gutters to get done.

They helped me select shingles that look good and with impact resistance, earning me a discount on my insurance. They worked without damaging my existing gutters, and they applied ice shield and quality flashing.  All the work looks very good. The workmen were courteous and timely. They cleaned up very well. Also they worked well with my insurance company.

It went well. My involvement of the whole process was minimal.
The entire job was complete in one day.

Home Team Roofing stopped by when they were in the area and offered to inspect my roof since they had been called out to replace several roofs in the area. Since I am a first time home buyer, they took the time to explain the entire process to me. They even came out to inspect the roof with my insurance company to make sure I was treated fairly be cause I had been given the run around in the past. The work was done in one day and their mess was cleaned up quickly. I would definitely use them again!

Service was professional and prompt. Work was done well and clean-up was complete! They handles all the work with our insurance company.

Our roof was damaged during the hailstorm last summer, along with everyone else in our neighborhood, and needed to be replaced. Home Team Roofing was great to work with and worked very well with our insurance company. They walked our roof with the insurance appraiser and made sure everything would be covered, which I really appreciated. From start to finish (initial discussion, insurance appraiser, roof replacement and final payment), the whole process took roughly a month and a half, which I thought was pretty quick. They were great to work with and our roof looks awesome. We've had a few storms since and haven't had any issues. We would definitely use them again (although I'm hoping we don't have to!).

Sean was very responsive answering questions and providing a good description of what to expect.The roofing crew removed the entire roof including shakes and shingles and replaced it with new decking and roof in one day.The crew was very careful in clean up and did an excellent job keeping material out of the landscape and pool.The price was quoted and then the Project Manager worked with the insurance company directly so it made it easy to work with them.

Work was completed in one hour and to the specifications of the Buyers Inspection Service.

We first spoke with Rich who said they could replace the roof within the insurance company estimate. When our insurance adjustor came for his visit, Shawn, a supervisor (and a carpenter) came and worked with the adjustor. Although we had had an aluminum roof, an option was to have a level 4 (the hightest level) high impact resistant shingle placed on the house instead. Rich told us that the company would work within the insurance company's estimate so that we would not have out-of-pocket expenses. He said they would not collect any money until the job was done and they did so. They promised they would work with us, providing a beautiful roof and great service and they truly delivered. They said it might take 2 days to get the work completed. On the day the roof was to be started, approximately 10 or 11 workers appeared and began work. In approximately 2 hours they had the roof torn off, and they worked steadily throughout the day to put a radiant barrier on the house and then put on the shingles and completed the work by early evening. The workers seemed to know their jobs and did it well. I had to leave the last 2 hours but when I returned home, the yard and areas were cleaned and neat. Both Shawn and the owner of the company, Don, were present at different times during the day to check on progress. A job boss covered in the interim. They also had a metal detector to pick up stray nails although I did continue to find 5 or 6 nails each time when working outside for the next couple of weeks. A number of them were aluminum nails that the detector would not pick up. Afterwards, I did have a few very minor repairs to my rain guards which Shawn took care of on a return trip. The entire supervisory and job team were very professional, were customer focused and results and outcome oriented. They did an exceptional job. The crew also took the metal roof pieces to a recycler. We had worked out a deal with the owner that we would split the amount received and this also worked out very well. This is an excellent company and they worked with us all the way.

They were sent to us by our insurance company. They got the work done. We had other roofers come out and try to work with our insurance company, but none of them could ever pull off the deal. They could. We were pleasantly surprised. We didn't pay for the work as the insurance company covered it.

Rich was in my neighborhood and stopped by to see if I knew my roof was damaged. I had explained I did, but was not successful with getting my insurance company to believe me. With the confidence of knowing I had damage I was able to convince State Farm to come out and look at my roof. The adjuster was at my house on Tuesday and I had a new roof on my house by Friday. The crew was anxious to work after a week of snow and ice, but they were great. The crew showed up at 7:30 AM with temps below freezing, but sun shining - they finished the entire roof by 5:30PM. They cleaned up better than what it looked like before they came. My roof looks the best in the neighborhood.

They worked with me and my insurance company to obtain a favorable inspection of the roof which had some hail damage. They also worked with me to obtain the impact resistant material at a reasonable price. The work went according to plan. Their work had to be coordinated with a framing contractor which replaced a 2 x 6 hip rafter over one of the garages and an electrical contractor which installed service for a motor operated awing to be installed after the roof work was compelted. All of the work was completed in two days as was scheduled after having to wait several days for the required weather conditions to exist. They removed all of the waste material and cleaned the lawn of mails with a magnectic roller. Don Sorrentino, one of the principals of the firm, visited the job site several times to check on his crews performance. There were only three items that needed attention after the work was completed. 1. The work failed the building departments inspection due to less than the required 1" clearance around the water heater and furnace vent pipes where they penetrate the roof. This was promptly corrected and the work passed the next inspection. 2. A lot of debris from the wooden shingles fell into the attic which was not removed. They promptly sent a crew of two men to clean the attic. They did a fairly good job but it was not cleaned 100%. There is still some debris in parts of the attic. 3. They reinstalled the satellite dish improperly and it would not receive the signal. The dish had to be reinstalled by the service provider. The roofing firm should not have attempted to reinstall the dish and should have advised me in advance that I would need to arrange for the service provider to do so.

I thought they were just amazing. They went up to talk to our adjusters. They knew exactly what they wanted to point out to them. They were able to get the entire job done in a few weeks. The job was done quickly, efficiently and well. They had to take off two layers of roof. They used a huge team. It looks fabulous and it was fast. They got the roof up in three days.
