I had never used Custom Pool Care before, but their technician Henri came out almost immediately, explaining "We try to respond quickly to pump issues. In this heat, pools can get murky fast." He quickly sorted things out, replaced a few parts, and we were all set, at a reasonable price. He did a great job and has a great attitude. I consider him my go-to pool guy, now. Highly recommended.

I have used Custom Pool Care on several occasions and am happy to have found a company that is reliable and more than competent. They've done a great job each time I've used them. Most recently - John repaired some tiles in my pool. He suggested some things I wouldn't even have considered keeping my budget in mind. I'm thrilled with the results. Custom Pool Care is now my go-to pool company.

They came on Saturday. I wasn't home when he came out, went out to look at it, it was running. It had the same old pump and motor. It was just a capacitor for the motor. Everything is working good, and it was well worth it.

they did the job, said they would be back after pool drained. The problem I had was they charged my CC before the job was complete. Then I asked them about light that was out and they were coming back next day and it was more like a week. The guy that came about the light was very professional, but he just work there

"We apologize for the charge being run before the return trip to balance the pool chemistry, which was done by a different department. The paperwork was submitted for billing after the chlorine wash, filter clean and tile work had been completed and the office was not aware that the final trip to balance the water had not been made. The charge was only made for the work that had been approved and actually came in lower than the estimated job total. We have spoken to the techs about submitting tickets before all departments have completed the work. As for the pool light, the Repair Manager spoke with you regarding scheduling and had set a day with you for a tech to come out and take care of the light."

The whole process went smoothly. I chose this company by their great reviews on Angies list. I did not bother to get quotes from other companies since I always got call backs as promised in such a busy season. Mike did the work. He showed up on time and installed a new pump for us. He also converted three broken automatic valves to manual valves without extra charge. Mike recommended their pool start up service to us when he knew we were looking for company to do so. But that process did not go well. I will write a separate review for that experience.

A good pool company is hard to find. Actually, finding a pool company that will return phone calls and comes out when they say will is almost impossible. This company returned my phone calls promptly, showed up on-time as promised, and did a great job fixing the pool equipment.
Our pool equipment stopped working right before a big freeze. The company came out to identify the issue and said they would could not fix the equipment until everything was unfrozen. They estimated it would take about 1 week and put us on the schedule for a week later. I was pleasantly surprised when 1 week later I was called first thing in the morning to coordinate an arrival time. The gentleman who came out was knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. He checked the equipment to see if anything was broken as a result of our equipment not running while temperatures were below freezing.
Cannot believe I've been in the house 10 years and I just now found a pool company that I will call out a second time! Thank you Custom pool care!

Work and equipment are great! They did my pool inspection when I bought the home and were incredibly thorough and showed me what needed to be repaired and what could wait until it breaks. So, I felt really comfortable giving them my business for the repair work. Only issue was that the technician left the used sand filter by the curb for bulk trash pickup with all of the sand still in the casing. It was too heavy for the city to take. I called Custom Pool Care and they sent a technician over within a couple of hours to remove the filter. Top-notch service from the office staff. Additionally, the technician called to let me know that it was taken care of and took the time to talk to me about any questions I had about the repairs.

DE Powder was filtering back into the pool. Custom Pool Care checked the filter for problems. We have used Custom Pool Care for pool maintenance since we moved into the house in 2000. They have always been quick to respond, and if there was more than one solution to the problem, have always explained all the options. I've been happy with their service and their responsiveness.

What a great service call. He not only made the repairs but he also told/showed us how to maintain certain pool components ourselves and which repairs were not really necessary. What an honest and kind person he was. We would definitely recommend him.

I cannot speak highly enough about Matt who works for Custom Care Pools. He was extremely professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. He even took the time to show my son, how to use the chemicals. I have a sensitivity to them.
The lady at the office was also very kind, called back and set up an appointment right away.

Mike showed up on time. Was highly informative of issues that needed fixing now or could wait and made recommendations based on my decisions. He was through, efficient and patient with all my questions (I'm a new pool owner). I felt very comfortable with his recommendations and work. As note I called several Pool companies from Angie's list and they were the only ones to answer their phone (the others never even called back). I would recommend CPC and Mike to anyone.

Custom Pool Care has provided excellent customer service from the very first time we contacted them with inquiries to their service and price. They have very friendly office staff who answered all our questions with knowledge and courtesy.
We decided to hire Custom Pool Care to replace our previous pool cleaning company which we weren't happy with. A supervisor came out and took an inventory of our pool pumping equipment and labeled all the components, which we thought was great. We also had them repair some damage to our pump that our previous pool cleaning company hadn't fixed correctly - Custom Pool Care diagnosed the problem quickly, and repaired it perfectly. We also received a 10% Angie's List discount as new customers, which was nice!
We've used their pool service for about 2 months now, and love the results. Chris our weekly pool maintenance person, is very friendly and does a fantastic job. They even leave a note after each service with details on the pool's water quality and additional pertinent service information as needed. We feel the monthly price is a super deal for the service we receive. We are more than pleased with our decision to hire this firm, and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking pool cleaning or repair services.

I called Custom Pool Care after finding them on Angies List to replace our pool light that had cracked and started to leak into the housing. Mark showed up and took a look at the lighting unit and suggested a replacement. We are also adding a GFCI to the circuit to bring the lighting up to code and insure that its safe for swimming.

I sort of knew what my problem was (an o-ring somewhere that was not
greased/worn) but, after troubleshooting it myself, I couldn't figure
out which o-ring it was. I called Custom Pool Care on Monday and Mike,
the tech, came out on Wednesday. He spent probably 15 minutes diagnosing
the problem and another 15 minutes fixing it - super fast, very nice to
work with, and very personable. I found them on Angie's List because
they had a coupon and I definitely will call them again in the future.
