Chenault's Window Services Inc

We had several windows replaced with Chenault. We've hired them three different times. The prices are good in that they will replace only the double paned glass so you save some money with not having the frame replaced. Recently, a chip appeared in my big kitchen picture window above the sink and it looked like a BB or a rock hit. We have no knowledge of anyone with a BB gun and my husband mows near there with a small electric mower and there are no rocks so we don't know how it happened. I called John Chenault and he was happy to send someone out to look. I didn't hear back from him till he called to say the window was ready. I usually would get a quote, but I wrongly assumed he was going to give us a lower price either from the warranty or because we had been good customers, but I received a bill for the full price including labor. I called and discussed it with him and he took $45 off the price of the labor. When I was saying I appreciated it, he hung up on me which was very offensive to me amd speaks volumes about future service.

Great. Always call them for window glass and screen service.

Our condo is over-filled with stuff which required moving and re-moving many obstacles from around the many windows. Chenault's five-man crew arrived on time and completed the difficult job in three days. Nothing got broken and they left all areas in cleaner condition than when they arrived.
Our 40 year-old condo has settled and shifted over the years and several of the windows required special fitting procedures, shims and insulation. The installers were highly experienced and did an outstanding job dealing with these issues.
A friend had recommended Chenault and we join in passing along that recommendation without any reservations.

We had gotten a quote from another window company whose price was more than twice that which we got from Chenault. That company gave me one price and when I balked, they lowered the price but said it was only good for that evening. I felt that tactic was unscrupulous.

That's when I remembered to check Angie's list. I immediately found Chenault's on the list. They have replaced fogged glass in our windows in the past, and we have always been impressed by how trustworthy they were. The quote they gave us was less than half that of the previous quote. That was good enough for me. We now have new vinyl windows that are beautiful and seem quite energy efficient.

The installers were very effient and careful not to damage the plants and other garden items around the work areas. They were polite and did a wonderful job of cleaning the glass and work areas. They showed up as scheduled and compled the job as requested.

We are now discussing the replacement of the glass in back of our home based on the quality of their work.

A salesman came out in a very timely manner to quote the new windows. Someone was then sent out to measure the windows.
The salesman sent the quote which was accepted. and work was to commence when I returned from out of town. The work was done in the two days after Christmas by two very professional and knowledgeable installers. Everything was left clean and tidy and all that was quoted was completed.
There was a miscommunication about one item but it was immediately addressed by the President of the company. This company exemplifies attention to detail, customer retention, and customer service. I would defintiely use them again and refer friends.

The price was good, the response all the way through the job was excellent. The guys did a great job, they finished all but one problem window in a couple of hours, and most work was done from the outside. They had to come back twice to remake one of the windows because of a bent frame. I was impressed that they made two new panes before they got it right, at no extra charge. Highly recommended!

This was a great experience. The rep showed up for our appointment on time and went to work taking measurements, gave me and estimate and worked to coordinate timing of the window glass installation. The installer found the size in one pane was off a little and instead of forcing it to fit, he had a new pane built and came back on a Saturday to install. We had another window with loose panes and while he was here he set it for us. This company is honest, dependable and will work with you on your schedule!

Prices were well below competitors, and quality well above. Open communication, with reliable and efficient on-site interactions. Installers were professional and courteous, and direct follow-up by ownership with very minor remaining issue handled immediately and to complete satisfaction. I contacted Chenault based on feedback from friends that had used them previously then I made my decision based on the good feeling I had working with Dean when he bid the project. He was honest and explained thoroughly the type/quality of windows he would use and the work that would be involved. We were replacing over 40 windows. He had ideas to customize our windows in some rooms to solid pane or shorter panes that raise to allow more unobstructed views to the outside and proposed a solution for the front entry windows that dressed up that area. We appreciated the personal service he put into making it more than just a window replacement.
The crew he used was a long time sub for Chenault rather than just the next person on a list. They got the job done in less time than predicted and the workmanship was excellant. They were careful not to damage plants, etc. and cleaned up continuously. Best of all they communicated what windows they would do next and blocked off the areas to reduce dirt in the house and not have the AC cooling the outside.
I would recommend Chenault to anyone looking for a window contractor. We achieved our goals of a more comfortable house, better views out the windows and lower electricity bills with a good experience for a major job.

They made a competitive bid. They showed up when they said they would. The guys that showed up were nice and cleaned up after themselves. The price was the best one.

We had an excellent experience with Chenaults from start to finish. We recently purchased our home (built in 1992); the inspection revealed that numerous windows had broken seals. They came out and gave us a free quote. The representative spent time with my husband explaining what we needed and provided a detailed quote showing which windows needed to be replaced. The quote was right in line with a quote we received from another company. It took about two weeks to order the windows. They scheduled the installation the week before. The installation took about seven hours. The crew of three was prompt, courteous, and they cleaned up after themselves. The windows look beautiful.

They did a phenomenal job. The thing that stood out the most was their timeliness. They were clean. They subcontracted the work to another company. The windows installers were fabulous. I can't say enough things about them. They did a great job. They got the windows in under the time. They worked with me economically. The guy who heads the company is Mr. Hutchinson. He is so picky. The price was great. I didn't buy the most expensive windows. They are Eco friendly, so the temperature of the house has really come down. I will definitely use him in the future. He is a general contractor. While walking through my house; he kept saying he could fix this and that. He is great.

They were very professional, they cleaned the place after they finished their work and went an extra mile to do a good job. We have lived in this house for 17 years and there was leak. We could not find the source of the leak. After they repaired the windows we have not found any leaks.
