Bruce's Sewer & Drain Cleaning

Miserable experience getting an estimate for plumber to repair my slow drain. Even though they know exactly what their fees are, every plumber I contacted through Google, Yelp and Angie's list refused to divulge their prices over the phone. Obviously upselling is a very important part of the plumbing racket these days and they can't sell it to you if they can't get their foot in the door. The thinking is that since you took a day off work to meet them you'll be more receptive to the inflated prices they charge that they're afraid (with good reason) to declare over the phone. Finally I noticed a recommendation for Mr Bruce on a Facebook group for Allen Texas and gave him a call. If he’s busy with a job you’ll get his machine and he won’t call you back until he’s finished with it. He doesn’t use an answering service because they can’t answer any questions his customers have and they don’t know what questions to ask of them. He called me back within an hour, asked a few questions and then told me exactly what my problem was and how much it would cost to clear my drain. He told me he would arrive between 1 and 3 and he was there at 1:30. He's a very charming, funny guy who enjoys his work greatly. He was a genuine pleasure to meet and do business with. He fixed my problem in two drains in about an hour. It was exactly what he said it would be. It's too bad all plumbers can't be like Mr Bruce

I called Darrell Bruce on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. He was able to come right over and resolve my problem for a very reasonable price. He was competent and cheerful and I was very grateful. One master bathroom sink had clogged up and also filled up the other sink. This was not a clog that could be plunged. He had to use a snake like cable to go deep into the pipes to clean the clog. He tested things thoroughly before leaving. I will call him the next time I have a clog.

He was so great. Pleasant personality and professional. He asked a few questions on the phone and then asked a few more questions once he arrived at the house. From start to finish, he was done in under an hour. I would recommend Bruce's Sewer to everyone.

Bruce was great! He came to my house within 15 minutes of my call (In part, I selected him because his address was close by.). He completed the work quickly and gave me suggestions on how to prevent the problem from developing again.

Called Darrell Bruce 12/4 at 5pm. made appointment with Darrell to come out  Saturday morning 8:30 am. Darrell asked me enough questions to figure out where the clog was to the toilet. Darrell told me he would need to go on the roof and clean out vent and quoted price of $165. Darrell arrived on time and asked me to run the water in the toliet while he was on the roof with clean out. In 20 minutes he complete the job on the roof . Toilet fixed and charge was $165. Price was what was quoted on the 1st call. I recommend Darrell he is  prompt and courteous.

We have used Bruce for a couple of years now.  About every 9 months we have a stoppage, we call Bruce and he comes right out, usually the same day.  Bruce is an easy going guy who likes his customers and you can tell.

When I call Bruce in the morning he is there within a few hours. He has us fixed within an hour and is delightful in the way he coaches us in how to keep the grains clear.

He is knowledgeable with regards to sewer design, cleaning and concepts. He does not contract for other types of plumbing work. Can't beat the price. I am glad I called him.

Scheduled for noon, was outside at 11:50. Finished in 1 hour and cleaned up. Drain runs clean now!

They did a great job and were inexpensive. Very nice guy.
