Tape was converted and ready for pickup several days before promised. DVD was watchable but the quality (especially the sound) was not as good as expected, probably due to the age and condition of the tape.

Very well.  The pictures touched up and in the TIFF format were spectacular.  Responsive, he asked me when I wanted them and I said I was open and that he should take his time.  Nigel was very nice and professional.  I found some more VHS and 8mm that I will take in to be converted.  He was very upfront with the estimate.  The final cost was within the estimate.  When I picked these up, he had carefully organized the contents based on the writing on the slides & movies.  He had a good labeling system with folders grouping the individual bundles of slides and with links to the folders.  This helped me organize and distribute to my family.

The gentleman at the desk when I dropped off the films was very nice, professional, and knowledgable. He asked the pertinent questions and estimated 2 weeks for the project. However, they were finished in a little over a week. I was pleased with the service and quality. The silent 8mms were 14.50 and the Super 8 films slightly more. They call and email you when they are ready. I plan to take more films for conversion.

This was is 100% professional. I worked with Nigel, and he answered lots of questions I had about this whole conversion process and some problems I was having with overseas videos not working here. He also has a great team of people that work for him, including one guy who was totally in DVD production services. Their place is spotless, just beautifully organized and neat. He did this just in a timely manner, sent me an email, and phone call letting me know it was ready. It was a big pricey, but I had already paid someone else 1/2 the cost, and the DVD did not work properly. So sometimes you get what you pay for. I would definitely go back to these folks, since I feel confident they would do a great job with many things including duplication, and labeling and such.

Action Video are wonderful. I highly recommend them. They have done tons, 7 or 8 hundred dollars of work for me. They do excellent work. This is a huge service they provide the community for archiving old films. They are very quick too. They are very professional.
