He arrived late on the day of install, which meant working late.
Promised to install a "pan" the following week. We never heard from him
again. We called at least 5 times, left messages and got no response.

Steve worked to clean my Rheem unit. The next day I still had problems and he came back out to find that we had a gas pressure to the house. He is very knowledgeable about these complex systems and I would recommend him. I would also add that you want to have someone that is very experienced with tankless systems and I would not work with a plumber that isn't also experienced as a tankless technician. We wasted a lot of money by working with a (wonderful and very effective) master that just didn't have experience with a Rheem tankless.

We installed 2 tankless hot water heaters when we remodeled our house a few years ago. Unfortunately, the installer did not install isolation valves (required to be able to flush the heaters) and consequently we have not been able to clean the units on a regular basis as recommended. I finally got some time to look into rectifying this and got estimates from 3 highly rated companies on Angies List (estimates ranged in price from $800-1200 including the $100+ apiece valve set), one of which was from Tankless Heaters. When I contacted Steve Joyner, he gave me an estimate over the phone that not only was the lowest priced bid but also included flushing of both heaters, a messy job that typically costs $100+ per unit, requires special equipment, and takes about an hour to perform. Needless to say, I signed him right up and he personally came out 2 business days later and completed the job on schedule to my complete satisfaction. He was a real pleasure to work with and I learned a ton about tankless heaters that I didn't know in the process, which will come in very handy when build our next house. So happy we found Steve and Tankless Heaters!

I liked that the technician was very knowledgeable. He knew exactly what was wrong and what repair needed to be made after one visit. He was extremely professional. He was able to do the repair within 60 minutes and for tankless water heaters that is pretty incredible. I won't have anyone else, but this company touch my water heater.

Steve Joyner did a great job for us last week. He evaluated our problem
with a relatively new tankless water heater that had been installed by
another contractor. When he discovered that the problem was a faulty
control board in the heater, he took the initiative to contact the
contractor and find out that it is still in warranty. Steve then removed
the water heater, exchanged it, and replaced it with a new unit. That
saved us a lot of money! In replacing the unit he found some suspect
fittings (we had earlier noticed some small leaks) and he replaced those
for us, too. He also fixed an unrelated problem with the shower
control. Since an estimate by another plumber was roughly 3 times what
we ended up paying, we were VERY please with our whole experience. Steve
was extremely professional and a pleasure to do business with and we
are happy to recommend him.

Our one water heater was dying and leaking. Knowing that water heaters last 6-10 years and that it had been 6 years at least for the 2nd one, I asked if he would give me a deal for doing both at the same time. He did give me a deal. He scheduled the install for later in the week. He arrive at the time stated, the work was performed on the first heater. He cam back the 2nd day and did the other water heater.
He told us the bet way to use the water heaters.
On his way out, he and his assistant noticed that one of my tires was flat. They helped getting me going.

He installed a water heater for me. His installation was superb. It was done in a very professional manner. He put down heavy cardboard and taped it to the hardwood floor so there wouldn't be any damage to the floor. There even had to be some modifications to the water heater closet and it was done in a professional manner.
