They did a very good job, and offered to do the job at a much lower price than the other estimates I had received. They performed the job quickly and professionally, without headache or hassle. I highly recommend them.

The price was excellent. They did everything they said they would in a single day for a reasonable price. I would recommend them.

I would recommend them and they were really good. I looked around for a better price, the prices were worse, Rusty gave me that price, and it was a better price. I had used them before. I give them high ratings and will use them again in the future.

Rusty had done a few small things for me prior to this – and was very nice and had good prices. In April I called him to install a new hot water heater during the time that the federal rebate for energy efficient appliances was going on. We picked up all the equipment and heater for him and he did the install. After it was in place, he said that he'd need to go another day to the city to pull the permit for inspection. He wouldn't sign my federal rebate forms until it had passed inspection. This meant I was unable to submit my paperwork to get my rebate. Well here we are 6 months later and Rusty never had a permit pulled, therefore an inspector never came out, and I lost out on my $160 federal rebate. We have called Rusty no less than 25 times and he has insisted he will pay us back for the rebate we never got. He said he is going through personal things and he is sorry for making us wait. The past 5+ times we've called he hasn't picked up or called us back. Not to mention that in May when my mother was visiting, she smelled gas. We called the city and they sent someone out to check - we had a MAJOR gas and carbon monoxide leak - due to improper installation. They said if the heater hadn't been in a mud room that was separated from our house we would all have had carbon monoxide poisoning. We tried to give Rusty a break and trusted that he would come back to finish the job, or come back and take care of things. But he didn’t. And has no intention of doing it. He did a poor job (gas leak!) and essentially robbed us of our $160 federal rebate.

I had been told it was going to be necessary to replace my hot water heater and my neighbor recommended Rusty Harris (Top Dawg Plumbing). I call Rusty and got an estimate of $950, which about the same price I had been quoted by two other plumbers. When Rusty got to my house and inspected my hot water heater, he told me that the heater was in good condition and that he could repair it rather than for me to go to the expense of replacing it! I was shocked that he chose to be so honest thereby saving me money at his own expense. I've referred him to many friends since that time and would not consider using anyone else.
