We just purchased a new home and new it needed a brand new electrical service, switches, can lights and fans. Pretty much the works. Jason came in and made sure our new home felt safe. Testing everything twice, fixing "diy'ers" mistakes, pig tailing old wiring. He also kept a very helpful, watchful eye on everything else going on in the house. Let us know he noticed a few other things that we needed to keep an eye on. He is very knowledgable and I felt much safer after he came in and said everything looked great. Would never hire anyone else. EVER. 

Due to a miscommunication on the part of a general contractor, I found myself needing an electrician at the last minute.  Mr. Shafer has done work for us before and worked us into his very busy schedule.  I was very grateful that he helped us out in this way.  Mr. Shafer has done work for us in the past and my wife has told me to consider him "our electrician"  I'm currently contacting him to schedule some additional projects.

This was my 1st time to use Jason Shafer.  He is very professional, seems to be a great guy and is very informative and knowledgeable. He installed a ceiling fan and wall plate with dimmer and speed control.  The installation was flawless and quick.

We also discussed quotes for removal of old an fluorescent kitchen light and install of recessed lighting, install of under-cabinet lights, install of directional lighting over garden tub and install of 2 motion sensor lights.  Great quotes.  I will definitely use him for these items.  Jason is very informative as to the design and placement of the lights, best types to use for the space and slopes of ceiling and cost options. 

I highly recommend using Jason Shafer.  I will not use anyone else for future electrical needs.

We had a potential electrical emergency, and Shafer was able to work us in and check everything out. He was very thorough and ran multiple tests. His price for the service was great too. This company is very professional and knows what they're doing. I highly recommend Shafer Electrical!

Contacted Shafer Electric previous week to schedule appointment.  Jason came when he said he would and completed trouble shooting of electrical issues we were having with foyer light and inspected all other switches associated with the problem.  Even installed a timer switch that he found broken at no additional charge.  He was very efficient.  Gave us a quote on other work we wanted done and we will definitely call him when we are ready to do the work.  Great experience.

They were on time for the initial review / quote and then on time for the actual install.  The team was very efficient and cleaned up after they were finished with the install.  The lights look great!!! 

I received a quote from Jason and one other "A" rated electrician on Angie's list.  Jason's estimate was much more reasonable than the other. 

Would definitely recommend Jason for electrical and lighting work.

Can?t say enough good things about Jason Shafer and his crew at Shafer electrical contracting.  Very professional all the way around.  Jason visited our home at no obligation and provided us with a very competitive quote for all the work we needed  (new bath heater/fans, new bath fan, add switches to several existing lights, add several new outlets, add ceiling fan wall switch, whole house surge protector, and a generator transfer switch).  Jason and his crew did excellent work, were very polite and conscientious, very professional, and cleaned up after each day?s work.  Jason also was easy to deal with for minor changes and modifications that were needed as the work progressed and had good suggestions for switch solutions.  He checked with me any time he had a question about some aspect of the work.  All work was completed in three days with the crew working full time at our home.  We definitely will use him again and we completely recommend Shafer Electrical without reservation.

Great!  Jason and his crew are efficient, professional, and excel at their craft.  They left the work site clean and he explained everything he was going to do and reviewed all his work when he was complete.  His labor time had changed since his original estimate, so he deducted those costs from the total due.

Everything was done to my satisfaction. They worked diligently, and the prices were in line with what I expected. I would definitely use them again. I'm a hard grader, so my B (really a B+) would be an A for many other reviewers.

This was our second occasion to use Shafer Electric.  After I contacted Mr. Shafer, he came by the next day to determine the scope of the job.  His estimate was exactly to the dollar what I thought it would be, so there were no surpises there.
He and his helper arrived on time the day of the appointment.  They replaced a broken receptacle with the proper GFI receptacle, and installed it in a weatherproof box.  From this point, they dug a 44 foot trench out to where I am installing a water garden and ran an underground cable to that point.  Another duplex receptacle was installed on a post at the point.  They finished the job by backfilling the trench.
This is our second time to use Mr. Shafer, and as before, he made some suggestions to improve the job without adding additional cost.
Good contractors are busy, and Mr. Shafer is no exception.  We were fortunate that he was able to work us in only a few days after he came out because our job was only three hours, and he had a small gap open between previously scheduled work.  Otherwise, he was booked out three weeks from the point we had contacted him.  If we had been required to wait, we would have done so however, because from our previous experience we knew we would be very pleased with his work.

They were quick and efficient. Well worth the cost,.. which was very reasonable!

Went well - I purchsed this old 1969 home as a HUD repo and of course you don't  exactly what your wallking into - anyway Jason got it going, updated and on my way in a timely manner.

The ceiling fans required some special mounting for stability. The work was done quickly and everything was cleaned up before their departure. Jason tends to run about 30 to 45 minutes late, so as long as you accommodate this, you will be very happy with the work and the price.

Jason and his team were very professional and honest. They did a fantastic job on the electrical work on our rental property. They gave me several options to choose from and informed me of the positiives and negatives for all choices. I never felt as though we were being "sold" something that was not needed.
