Firestone Complete Auto Care

We had to take the car back 3 times because something else was broken at the shop each time they did a repair. Wiper motor, a fastener on the brakes didn’t get completed and came loose and rear end bracket was broken the last time. We spent $1800+ and got careless work. After the 4th visit it seems to be doing fine. To be fair the manager did not charge us for repairing what they broke. I would not trust them again. We bought lifetime balancing & road hazard but we will look for another firestone store. I wouldn’t trust them again.

The price is comparable to everywhere else. It takes maybe an hour for the oil change. The workers are fine, I just see the first one.

Check engine light kept comping on took it to Firestone and the 1st time they stated it was a knock censor code. Had that repaired for around $800.00 if i remember correctly. Left from the shop drove down the street light came on again took it back the light came on again. The replaced it again. Under warranty. Took it home this time the rack and pinion steering decided to go out on the 2 mile trip home. So we took it back to to Firestone to have them repair that. Oh the check engine light was on again when i pick it up from this repair. Technician read the code and it said it was the knock censor again. The tech stated "well it was probably the shacking from the steering going out". So the kept it again to fix the issue with this knock censer. OK pick it up again drove off and down the street maybe 4 miles the check engine light goes on again. REALLY... Took it back again..After returning truck to Firestone to trouble shooting for this problem. After multiple visits and costly repairs for different parts comes to find out its the computer itself then it was the harness. My truck stayed in and out for about a month. Ended up that Ancira Chevy Dealer had to repair it in the end. I don't know why it took so long or why they could not

I have no problem at all. It is a good experience, I will give them all A's.

The repair went smoothly, as it always does. We are military, and generally use Firestone on Randolph Air Force Base for all of our auto needs since we arrived in San Antonio in 2010, with the exception of those problems where Firestone refers us to the dealer for more complicated repairs. We buy all of our tires and batteries here, and therefore do all of our tire rotations and oil changes here as well. Everyone who works here is always very professional, and I have gotten exceptional service from the manager, Bill, as well as Omar, another employee.

The manager made sure my vehicle system was inspected thoroughly, seeking the cause of the annoying noise. His technician could not get the sound to recur, but he took it for a test drive to see if it would happen again. He called me and let me know that he could try to replace the air flow valve near the sound, but that since the exact sound and cause could not be determined, he would not recommend that course of action. I have taken all of my vehicles to this location many times, and the staff there always tells me exactly what is wrong with my car (if anything) and does not add unnecessary work. Honest, quality work!
