We were highly impressed with our design and overall project. Rudy was our main designer and contact. He did an excellent job. His knowledge of the plants and flowers were exceptional and he knew just what we needed to have around our new pool. His crew was very professional.

After quoting specific materials the provider changed the brick vendor to a cheaper and different sized brick thus throwing off original measurements. The brick is also a significantly different shade which the provider tried to talk his way through stating that brick runs can vary in color. Understood but we went from a deep red to an orange shade of red. The provider also balked at the original pattern agreed upon. The workers did unneccessary brick trimming yielding odd sized brick width at several areas of the patio. This refers to brick width not length. The stone walls appear to be bowing outward opening up broad seams between the bricks. Soil removed from the area was to be used in the back yard. It was dumped in the lot next door. The yard around the fire pit was to be graded with soil and grass put in. Did not occur. By this time I wanted them gone. The overall construction appears to be sound although there has been some settling. There is erosion around the fire pit patio since no grading was done. 9-25-2015 after contacting the company to come out and look at the work I heard nothing for a week. I called them again and had to leave a message. The following day while at work they leave a message to tell me the workers are at my home doing repairs without making arrangements for me to be there. I really feel like they don't want to discuss it nor do they truly want to make it right. I won't use them again.

They took off the broken branches and several other branches that they said needed to be removed from a huge oak tree, 18+ years old. The tree looks sparse to me now, but a neighbor had similar work on their tree a couple years ago, and it looks full again. I did have a hard time getting in touch with the rep once I decided to get the work done, but once I did, they scheduled it within a few days. They also sent me an invoice immediately after scheduling, before the work was done, but I didn't pay it until after, and they didn't complain about that. I didn't shop around for a lower price; maybe I should have, but I just needed it done. I'd previously had a guy in a truck ring my doorbell and offer to remove just the broken branches for $60, but I wanted a company that I could trust to not hurt themselves and sue me, and to not let large branches fall on my roof or through my windows. Overall I was satisfied and I'd probably use them again because it was convenient. I didn't have to be home while they did the work. They also cleaned up all the mess - no trace of branches in the yard when they were done.

Texas Tree and Landscape was referred to us through our pool contractor. We used them for lawn service at our previous home, but had no idea of the extent of their services. Not only did they work seamlessly with our pool company, but we were equally impressed with the level of service, creativity and attention to detail that we experienced with TTand L, and specifically Steve Berry. From city permitting and numerous inspection/code approvals, irrigation design, landscape design, and all the challenges (surprises!) that a 75 year old refurb brings, Steve Berry and crew were wonderful to work with, extremely knowledgable and professional. They showed up when they said they were going to, did what they said they would do, exceeded our expectations and kept our budget in mind. We will definitely continue with TTand L for all our lawn and landscape services.

They were very accommodating, provided rendering of proposed landscaping changes, several meetings prior to installation, worked with us on budget. Steve was our main contact and was very responsive Final product was above our expectations, Provided follow up visits to correct problems We thought the pricing was a high so had others check and their comment was the cost was not out of line. Will recommend

Simply said, Steve and Texas Tree and LAndscape is the kind of company you go to work and come home with a smile on your face. Trust me, I have had to babysit a ton of contractors lately. Texas Tree and Landscape is NOT one of them. We have spent over $17,000 with them over two project and I would highly recommend them. The job gets done the way YOU want it to. Troy

Called and talked to the owner twice, he gave me a dates and time to come and review the project, but never showed up for either appointment. Just not responsive!

We have used their service for over ten years. My wife met somebody at work and got to know about Texas Tree and Landscape.

He tried to rip me off by charging for stone that he didn't not even bring. Then one of the trees that he planted died and he has refused to replace it per the warranty. I also had them re-do our sprinkler system about 6 months prior. I have had nothing but problems with it. Very poor work. They don't respond to warranty calls.
