"Thank you for your review, we appreciate customers grading us on our long term business and quality at Daltex Contractors."
"Thank you for the review, you and your husband are always such a joy to work with. We are so happy you are enjoying your sunroom. Happy Holidays."
damage in the kitchen so the Claim adjuster sent this company. The most serious
problem was the vinyl flooring that had just been installed; it was gouged
while they moved the refrigerator. The old vinyl was over 15 years with no tears;
the vinyl in the utility room is original to the house. The flooring company
had no problem moving the refrigerator. Later when Lance had to move the refrigerator to put on an outlet
cover he used a piece of vinyl and had no trouble or marks. Lance answer to the
floor damage was to get my kitchen mat and cover the spot and say problem
solved. Several of the painted cabinets will not close shut, Lance said nothing
could fix them. Steve the project manager knocked several small holes in the wall while removing the countertop and did
not want to use a hole fixing kit. I don?t know if they did. Mario was painting
baseboard outside in the rain until I ask him to paint them in garage. I have
had to call a plumber twice to check the ice maker dripping and the sink
sprayer which was wrapped around the pipes so it would not come up. I
signed a separate agreement ( stupid of me) that they would paint house trim
and it said they would spray wash before painting; they did not do this because
the painter thought he could wipe off the dirt. It was the last day before any
clean up was offered, workers often did not show up when they said or Steve
never returned my calls. I have never reviewed anything but I would not feel
right letting others choose this company without warning of problems that they
might encounter.
"Thank you Angie for allowing me to defend my 20 + year old company. Daltex Contractors LLC has thousands of HAPPY customers throughout the DFW area and thousands of references and an A+ BBB rating for many many years with NO complaints in our life of the business. Unfortunately, this is the second time I have had to protect my company due to inaccurate reporting from a customer on Angie’s List. The first one speaks for itself. Based on this latest report, the homeowner is right on a couple of issues… 1. My crews were late on more than one occasion due to traffic, weather or customer delays, we apologized to [Member name removed] when this occurred. 2. Power wash of exterior of house – our agreement did call for power washing, we determined it was best to scrape and hand wash due to the condition of the exterior, which was explained to [Member name removed]. 3. The cabinet doors were not of concern during the project as no work was done on the actual cabinets which were original to the 30 plus year old home, prime and paint and new handles only were all that was contracted to do. We explained to [Member name removed] that the cabinets were old and movement is due to the age and structure and foundation movement. WE PAINTED ONLY. 4. We were not contacted by [Member name removed] about any plumbing issues (sink hose, refrigerator line) so that is not able to be addressed. If Daltex Contractors is not aware of a problem we are not able to resolve. 5. The vinyl floor was dinged and Daltex Contractors was blamed for this damage but the flooring company (which was hired by [Member name removed]) is the actual company that moved the refrigerator back into position after the floor was installed. She mentioned that she would cover the small ding with a rug and the owner of Daltex Contractors as a nice gesture gave her a $100.00 to buy a rug. Owner and Project Coordinators met with her along with painters and carpenters to review and make final repairs to bring this project to close. [Member name removed] commented about how impressed she was that the owner was on his hands and knees wiping up dirt on the floor. We have documented conversations showing our continued communication with [Member name removed] addressing her concerns and questions about the construction processes and products which were outside of her knowledge base. [Member name removed] review again is mind boggling as our Business Owner / and Staff received numerous comments about how happy and excited she was about the work and her new kitchen. I am sure that the facts will speak for themselves about the quality of business Daltex Contractors LLC does as to maintain a business for 20+ years takes amazing customer service, quality work and a dedication to our trade and the community. And this is one review that is NOT deserved."
"Thank you for your business, we appreciate the great comments."
"We thank you for your business and we look forward in working with you in the future."

"We enjoyed working with you and your husband on your rental property. Thank you again for your business and we look forward in working with you again in the future."
From beginning to end, the experience culiminated in WOW! Compared Dal-Tex with one of the top recommended Angies' List roofers and the owner of that company asked Lance if they were using 6 nails per shingle, Lance replied 8! Dal-Tex has provided every instruction for claim process including: phone # for my insurance claims dept., for e-mail, forms for processing the checks (I received 3 different checks before the final check) and provided timely communications of independent claims adjustor, insurance claims adjustor and mortgage holder for securing funds and establising escrow. See above for the etire story.
"We appreciate the wonderful review from the members. They were amazing customers to work with. Our belief in our work is to treat our customer's home like our own with the same quality. Thank you again Members, you are a valued customer."
"We are responding based on the information submitted from Member. We were contracted to do the work on the home, after the completion of the siding work which was paid in full in the amount of $8500.00 (insurance scope, proceeds and overhead and profit on this portion of the job). We opted NOT to continue work with Member due to the unstable issues with this homeowner. Member allowed her neighbor and others to interfere with the construction on the home and also STOLE our equipment trailer from the driveway of the home, which was loaded with construction debris and the neighbor dumped the trash into another neighbors yard. The police department contact us threatening a citation, upon review and investigation by the police the neighbor admitted to taking the trailer and dumping the debris and then had to pick up the debris or would be cited. There were many calls to our owner which he was very nice and explained to Member and the neighbor who also called numerous times begging for us to continue work. We explained to Member that there was to much interference and unstable issues going on for us to continue to work with her on any other project. Our work even based on this review was done with quality. It was inspected by the city and approved (permit pulled on the house). Daltex Contractors did respond to Member on every occasion that she called but unfortunately she did not like that we refused to do any more work for her on her insurance claim. Member had the roof done by someone else and is now refusing to pay the individual for the roof installation. As a company we unfortunately have to back out of agreements due to the unstable nature of the homeowner and the potential non payment of work. We are in the process of pending legal action against Member if the posting of bad work faith continues. Daltex Contractors is a 20 year company with an A+ Accredited BBB rating with amazing references. We hope that customers will review all the facts of a review and understand that unfortunately we are not able to work with some homeowners and that it is not Daltex Contractors that is in the wrong but a homeowner that is making false allegations against our company."
