She started calling for blood pressure meds and pain meds and they would not give her any. She called me around 11:00 pm and told me and I advised her to push the call button and ask again. At around 11:30 pm she called me again and while I was on the phone I had her push the call button again and the nurse or aid told her it was not time and to STOP pushing the call button.
I got out of bed and drove over to the rehab and found a Police man and told him I wanted a witness because I was going to get her out of there. At first they told me she could not leave and the police seen she was in distress and called the EMT's they arrive within 4-5 min and took her blood pressure and it was 198 over 120 are something. They told the EMT's that she could not leave without Dr. orders and the EMT told me we can leave so we did. The nurse in charge told the EMT's that he had to take her back Downtown. When they got her in the ambulance and checked her out they told me she would NOT make the trip downtown and we had to get her to the nearest hospital.
