"Her car had been sitting for several months. The AC was not working. We charged the AC system and added leak detection dye at a total charge of $65.00. She also wanted some bulbs replaced which took .6 of an hour, we charged $42.00. A few days later she returned to the shop and we determined the AC compressor suction hose was leaking. (no Charge) She asked us to order the part and asked how much it would cost. I told her I would try to locate the part from after market sources and estimated the part price at $150. After spending considerable time searching, I learned the part would need to come from the dealer, raising the part price to $265. We went and picked up the part wich is still at our shop. The availability and price of parts is not in my control. It is not our intension to mislead anybody. I hope she got her car fixed."
