They dug up everything and repaired it. No more leaks. Somehow the zone wiring was not connected so they came back and fixed that.

Dale was my contact person. He came out to my house and told him what I wanted done. I sent me the original estimate and I was pleasantly surprised so I decided to add more plants. He sent me a list of options that were low maintenace that he thought would do well in our climate (I am not a gardening type). I picked out what I liked... he sent me back a layout of where he was going to put everything. The plan was for them to come out on a Thursday but we had a massive rainstorm the night before that pushed them back a day. He called and said they would either start that day and finish on Friday or they would do the whole job on Friday. I left town Friday morning... but came back to my new beautiful back yard. Everything was as expected and they cleaned everything up. They also set aside some plants (that the tore out) that I requested they save for me. Overall I think they did an outstanding job... certainly something I would have never wanted to do myself. I can't wait to see how much more beautiful it gets over the next few months when all my new plants grow and fill up their new homes!! Thank you so much!!!

The only thing I would say is, they do an excellent job. They're a little pricey over all the others but like I said you get what you paid for. The one thing I know is that all their guys are insured and all that stuff, you won't have any problems. Excellent quality.

We called Yard Birds to come look at our poorly draining side yard. Drake made an appointment to come by and suggested a french drain system. We also asked that they level some low spots in our backyard. We were given an estimate for the work and he helped us with our homeowner's association approval and the drainage permit. The drainage permit wasn't needed for our area, so we didn't have to pay for that.

The day of the installation the crew brought the wrong drain pipe, flexible black plastic instead of the rigid PVC we agreed upon originally. I called Drake and he confirmed it was wrong and had the correct pipe delivered before the trench was finished.

The crew did an excellent job and worked through some very tough roots. They fixed the slope of the lawn in the back yard like we asked and with the leftover dirt fixed the slope on the side yard. The sod they put in was good quality and is the best looking grass on our lawn now. After drying out for a few weeks the side yard which like swamp is now draining well and solid enough to walk on even after heavy rain.

We will using Yard Birds for future projects.

Project went very well.Dale the project manager came to house with his work crew and went over job.
When job was finished Dale came back and verified all work was done and done right.
Workers did a great job and also cleaned up and removed all the items that were cut back.
Terms of price slightly higher,but goes back to the old adage you get what you pay for.

Dale at Yard Birds was great, very responsive and kept me in the loop on what was going on. The installers were fast and courteous, and left my property clean and tidy, my wife didn't even know anything was done. I would highly recommend Yard Birds Inc for any landscaping or irrigation needs. I plan on having them back to do some other landscaping jobs.  Thanks Dale!

It went perfectly!!  Yard Birds worked for 2 days with a 3-man team, and completed all I requested.  Yard Birds performed the initial full landscaping project in 2012.  They have taken care of all maintenance every since.  It included 15,000 sq ft of landscaping which included 10 different flower gardens and the construction of a large Cabana w/roof in back yard which included a full bar, grill, fridge, kitchen style setup, lighting, etc.  The initial project was handled by Lindsay, Yard Birds' Lead Landscape Designer.  She put together an amazing plan....state of the art.  Now Lindsay told me that with all of the new sod and plants involved it would be 2-3 years before the explosion of it all.  I asked what she meant by "explosion".  Lindsay said it had to do with the time it takes for plants to mature and such, but that I would have to experience the "explosion" to fully appreciate/understand it.  Well, the first year was a very pleasant, beautiful surprise in color and beauty.  However, now I am going in to the beginning of the 3rd year..............."Explosion" is an understatement.  The place is really a visual knock out to me.  Lindsay said "if you keep maintaining as you have, then each and every year will be just better and more beautiful.  Yard Birds spring clean up this year released a wonderful world of beauty.  Yard Birds is not the cheap trick in town......but the old saying is so true...."you get what you pay for."  This is one class act landscaper!  I live in Bentwater in Montgomery County.  If you would like to see for yourself the professional work of Yard Birds, then please call Lindsay or Corey (the owner) and ask if they would call me for a walk thru.  If you are looking for a great landscaper, upgrader of current landscapes, or just a company to take care of what you have.....I highly praise Yard Birds.  You can reach Corey or Lindsay at (281) 577-9094.  Just tell them Neal at Bentwater referred you and that you would like them to schedule a visit. They know me well. 

We've been using them for about 8 months.  They take about 3 hours and that's each time with 3 guys doing all the work.

Rachel is an outstanding ambassador for Yard Birds. She completely understood our requests and executed on them expertly.

The lady that does the landscaping design, I really like her.  She was very approachable, friendly, and knowledgeable about what she is doing.  She was very easy to talk to and she sits down and works with you about what the plan is.
