His crew came on Friday, 5/20. their english was poor and they could not communicate well. They were laying the foundation for the pad, and I told them they needed to move the pipes. They said OK. I had to leave town for a family emergency and they to complete the work the same day. When I returned on Wednesday, the concrete patio wa two different colors and it was clear the pipes were not moved. I called Carlos and he said he would take care of it, and he sent his crew back out. They said it was OK to have the sprinkler pipes under the pad, and I told them, no, that was not what was agreed to. They also said they bought the concrete from Home Depot and they ran out of it 3/4 of the way through the job and went to Lowes to get more. They stated they were two different types of concrete mix. Also, the pad had ripples and was not level. The next day, they came back with a jackhammer and took away the patio, redid it using a concrete truck, and they moved the pipes. They proceeded to tell me that the $1,260 was for the patio only, and the moving of the sprinkler pipes and swale was not included. I told them to get Carlos on the phone, which he also said it was only for the pad. I contacted my yard person, who was present during the quote, and she agreed that he was wrong. He told her he would not charge me any more. His crew came back today and finished the job. They were very rude and curt with me. They left the job site messy, there was concrete splashed all over my windows and patio furniture, which I had to go out and clean up. I will not recommend this company again, and I definitely will not use them.
Description of Work: Carlos Garcia of Ticas LandDesign was recommended by the people that do my yardwork. He came out and I explained fully what work I wanted done, lay a concrete patio extension, move the sprinkler pipes which were under where the patio was being placed, and swale the lawn so that standing water would flow to the french drains. He quoted a price of $1,260 to do the work.
