Custom Landscaping & Design

This is our second Spring Refresh with Mazzie and her Magnificent Crew!!! They also did our original landscape design and install. We couldn’t be happier with the care and attention to detail. Our overgrown and unsightly hedge line is beautiful and better than ever!! The mulching and fresh rocks look amazing!! The crews are always professional and respectful. We couldn’t happier and can’t wait to start our next project with you!

Mazzie was quick to respond to our request for a quote for our backyard project. She was on time, professional, friendly, listened to our ideas & offered suggestions that we had not thought of/considered. Mazzie, Albert & their crew arrived on time every day they were on the job, equipped w/everything needed to complete the phase they were working on that day. They were incredibly hard working, diligent & skilled. Albert & his carpenters built us a beautiful deck to surround our new spa, complete w/a platform, steps to get safely in & out of the spa & a custom bench to hold towels/phones, etc. Their whole crew works so well together. At the end of each day, they cleaned up the work area & left the yard tidy before leaving...which was SO appreciated! The finished project exceeded our expectations & is beautiful. They have helped to make our backyard a place we can truly relax in & will enjoy for years to come. I would highly recommend Custom Landscape & Design & will hire them again for any future projects.

Mazzie Salazar, the owner of Custom Landscaping in Porter, TX, called me back the same day I left a message with her secretary that we needed advice on our front yard. She set up an appointment with us to come for a free consultation. She was very professional and is an expert in her field.  She gave us several options concerning our property and with our budget in mind.  When we decided on a plan, she told us that she would not take any money until the job was finished to our satisfaction.  (That was unusual.)
She was here with her crew exactly when she said she would be.  They worked all day, every day they were scheduled to be here.  The job was huge and they finished it in five days.  Mazzie went above and beyond on this job. She is a perfectionist and so was her crew.  The crew was meticulous and very clean. She stayed in contact with my husband and I daily and sometimes several times a day.  Every step of the way she wanted to make sure we were happy with the progress.  A couple of times my husband wanted some different rock placements and she was quick to make the changes.  One time she even came all the way back into town to discuss placement of some of the larger bushes we had questions about.  She was always happy to go the extra mile.
We are beyond pleased with our experience with Custom Landscaping and Mazzie Salazar.  We recommend her without reservation and would use her again in a second.

Mazzie Salazar, the owner of Custom Landscaping & Design, came out on the date and time agreed on and looked at our yard. She sent a plan the next day with the cost broken down by work to be done. We agreed on the installation of 11 pallets of grass, building flower beds, installing plants and tree an building rock steps down to our boat house. The price quoted was approximately $2,000 less than the bid I got from a second landscaper so I was a little concerned. I shouldn't have been. The quality of work was exceptional. While Mazzie was out of town her workers worked 3 days on our steps. Mazzie came back in town today, took one look at the steps and had her employees start removing the rocks and she started rebuilding them herself. They turned out beautiful. I highly recommend Custom Landscaping & Design.
