It is nice to know there are still honest and dependable professionals that can repair a lawn mower at a fair price. Based on recommendations from Next Door Neighbors decided to use B&K. Brought mower in on Mon.,Feb 24,2019 and was told would be ready on Mon.,3/11/19.Needed annual maintenance and right rear wheel. Should have specified give me a call if unforeseen expenses, but Didn't. Final price for right rear wheel, change oil, air filter, sharpen blades, and tun up was $97.00

Within 2 hours after I dropped it off, he called and told me exactly how much it would cost to fix it, and when I asked if he thought it would last awhile, he told me about a rust spot on the deck but other than that it still was good. I told him to go ahead, and within an hour, it was ready to be picked up. He showed me the broken parts he had replaced and offered them to me if I wanted them. I would use this business again and would recommend it to anyone

see above. Unlike the same repair at a different service center (for 4 times the cost), this repair lasted the season and into the next 2014 season.

SUMMARY: B&K did NOT repair my mower properly after 2 attempts. B&K has not given me a refund. Brought mower to B&K for repair on June 6th, 2010, because it would not run under load (with blade turning). On June 15th I paid B&J $50 for "bowl replacement and clean carb jet" and brought mower home. Tried to use mower on June 17th. Would not start. Used nieghbor's mower to mow yard. Brought mower back to B&K. Was accused of putting watered gasoline in mower (w/o any check of the mower). B&K's Brian quickly turned mower on its side, made some adjustment to something, cranked it and gave it back to me as repaired, again. Left on vacation June 18th. Tried to use mower on July 5th after returned from vacation. Mower would not start. Let neighbor's mower repair person have mower. Paid that person $50 for repaired mower a few days later. He put in a carb kit and cleaned the fuel lines. Mower has run well since (3-4 mowings in heavy grass). Sent letter to B&K providing details of my experience and gave them my address so they could return the funds paid them. They appear to have chosen to keep the money.
