"Hello Mrs. [Member Name Removed], We are sorry you are unsatisfied with your kitchen. As stated in previous communications. We have tried to resolve this issue for you on numerous occasions to keep your countertop intact with no risk of damage. There was no faulty equipment on site, not sure where you are gathering that information from. Yes we do have insurance, the insurance is for any damage to your home and/or appliances, NOT slab insurance as that was never mentioned or offered. Lastly, Business owner handles various appointments per day and 2 installations per day, If a request was made for him to be there it would have been met. There is simply not enough time in the day for the business OWNER to appear at every job site. As for payment, we did not receive that as you paid that to the contractor. Not us. We are a professional company and want to amend the situation, we gave you 2 options while the 1st option was not highly recommended upon review of the slab. Option 1: This first option involved removing the glue holding the slab to the wall (like a demolition) and removing the slab from the counter, to then remove the metal brackets screwed into the counter, to fix them appropriately and then place everything back with new glue. Upon review of the shape of the slab, and the veins in it, we informed you that lifting would leave it compromised to structural failure and breaking upon removal. If we were to do that, we informed you that we would not be liable as we said it was not recommended after reviewing it. Option 2: We would make cuts on the excess metal brackets that were sticking out ¼ inch from the counter and bend them down to remove them, without damage to the counter. This would leave no more overhang and allow you to install your backsplash as normal. This was to no cost to you and would not hinder the integrity of the countertop leaving the wall flush. These options were given to you before the “Due-date” you had given us of January 29, 2022. We were met with zero contact from you, having blocked us."
