The installation went well.The main problem we experienced though was with All Star Pools & Spas' knowledge of the material they used. We chose a stone for the coping (border around pool & spa). This was one of the stones that the company had on display at their office in Porter, TX. It slowly disintergrated over a period of a year. Not only does it look awful, pitted and uneven, but the bits that come off fall into the pool, making it look dirty and wearing on the filter cartridges that are not designed to take that type of grit. We complained to All Star Pools & Spas for almost a year before they agreed to replace it. We agreed to have the same stone installed. The new stone disintergrated also. We spoke to a rep from Mako Sealants who informed us that the stone should have been sealed as soon as it was installed. All Star Pools & Spas DIDN'T have Mako seal our stone! Now, All Star won't replace the stone again or even pay Mako to salvage what we have now.

Eddie is the owner who created the plan. He offered suggestions along with asking for my input in the design plan. The builders were wonderful as they completed the project within 3 weeks. The builders showed up on time daily. I was so pleased with their services and expertise that I hired them to continue maintenance for the pool on a regular basis.
