He was called to repair a dead interior phone line. He spent about 1.25 hours to do the job, half of which was spent chatting with us about his personal life. When he prepared the bill, he asked us how much time he had spent and we replied that he had spent about 1.25 hours. He billed us for two hours and stated that the extra cost was for his experience in knowing how to do the job. The phone line went dead again two days after he repaired it. When we finally got ahold of him, he promised to come back later that day. He never showed and when we called him back, he ignored our repeated attempts to contact him. After two days of trying to reach him to set up another time to come back, we stopped payment on the check. To date, he has still not contacted us.
