According to Angi.com the price quoted for the work to be done was well above industry average, they were plus selling unwanted services. Ultimately they made the problem worse. Do not recommend

Great. Punctual. Professional. Charge by the project, not by the hour. Made understanding what I was going to have done, length of time needed (barring no major problems), and the costs involved. Parts were on the truck. No delays. Would have them again...probably will.
Description of Work: I needed some electrical outlets replaced, an inspection of the electrial system in our home and to have the bathroom lights checked for a dimming.

I had difficulty finding someone to replace my bathroom fan, that included a light and heater as well as the exhaust fan. I did some preliminary work and realized that I should hire someone to install the exact same fan as the one already there. I had already purchased the fan. Using Angie's List, two of the three recommended companies called me back immediately. The individual with SALT explained their process, which is payment by the job as well as a travel fee. Everything sounded very good and I made an appointment. The technicians were prompt, professional, and spent about 90 minutes doing the work. They also did a 30 point inspection of our electrical system which probably took another 30 minutes, but which was free. When they provided the estimate of the cost to do the install, along with a couple of other suggested electrical items, I was quite shocked at the cost, which was easily twice or more than I had expected for a relatively straight-forward job. Despite my shock, I did hire SALT to do the install work only, though I could have said no and just paid the $79 travel fee. We had been without a fan and in the dark in the bathroom area for over a week, so I guess that I just wanted the install finished. I take responsibility for agreeing to the price, but you should know that, while the company may do high-quality work, you are going to pay "big time" for it. Perhaps for a major job, it would be worth it, but I regret not shopping for a cheaper price for what, I think, was a minor job.
