We called for a bid, they were very prompt in their response, and we were able to schedule the work in a very timely period.We had bids from other companies and the Koolcote of Texas bid was very consistent with the rest, even a bit lower than some of the others. They called to confirm the schedule the Friday before the work was to be done . The work took a total of 3 half days, as the process required overnight drying time. Every morning they called to confirm the work for that day, and a team of 2 men worked on our job. The workmen were very efficient and focused. They did a professional job, and were careful to attend to clean-up, as this part was as important as the application. A few days after the job was finished their design consultant inspected the work. We are very satisfied with the job they did for us, the communication they had with us, plus they have a three year warranty on the work they do. This was important to us as the original deck----koolcote DID NOT do that job---- had peeled and lifted right away within the first year it had been applied. We are pleased they did this work for us, we would have them again, and we would recommend them to others.

I absolutely love it. They did a great job. I want everyone to know how such great work they provide as they absolutely deserve it.

Removal was quick and neat.  Replacement was faulty in several ways.  I have a somewhat unusual configuration in that my house is "U" shaped and the pool is tucked in to the U.  Therefore the decking is against the house on two sides (the third side is a stone garden which allows for drainage.  My problem is the slope of the Koolcote (or cement) product.  It tilts back toward the house, leaving pools of water at the foundation of my house every time it rains.  In fact, they had to have another company come in and add a drain along one side so any rain water would not pool there, but drain properly.  This was only done at my insistence and withholding payment.  (When the decking was tiled, I never had pools of water after rain.) I also have pool cover anchors around the coping.  Initially they explained how they would carefully pour the product around these anchors to leave them in place.  Instead, on the day of the pour, the workers pulled out the anchors.  The company then had to contact the pool cover company and pay to have them replaced.  No money for me, but more time and hassle as I had to be here for each of these repairs.  Sloppy work.

Excellent from beginning to end. The moment I met with Corky, I knew we would be in good hands. I did interview a few other companies for comparison purposes and even though they cost less, I had a feeling we would be better off paying the extra money and going with a more professional company. I sensed that Corky really knows this business and that he would stand by his work. As it turns out, we have not had to test this theory as it's been almost nine months since our deck was resurfaced and we've had no issues. The deck looks beautiful and feels great under our bare feet--even on a hot summer day! We were out of town when the work was done, but KoolCote called us each day with updates and finished exactly when they said they would. Also, they have over 1,000 colors to choose from which I found very attractive. I will most certainly use this company again for some other resurfacing projects!

From the initial sales call through to final delivery these guys were great. There price was better than everyone else's as well. They sent out a two man crew to resurface about 1000 sq feet, which included 3 layers of surfacing and painting. They also painted a section of a wall to blend in to the koolcote surface. They did this at no additional charge. The showed every day as promised. They cleaned up every day and left the place clean when they finally left. I can not tell you if the coating will survive the 5 years that were promised, but so far so good. This is the best service I have received since I have been in Texas.
