WD Metal Buildings

WD Metal Buildings was just who I needed to build a 30X66X14 foot open end barn. The work was done in mid 2022. I got quotes from 4 other builders. WD's online calculator was accurate and helped me understand and explore all my options. I needed a sturdy barn that wouldn't budge if a cow leaned on it. With schedule 40, 4 1/2 inch steel pipe poles, it fit the bill. The rounded roofline is simple and sturdy. Knowing they were likely to hit rock when they dug the holes, they contracted a professional to drill into rock. WD was very accommodating with my schedule and their crew was courteous and efficient. They also cleaned up before they left! The holes dug through practically solid rock took one day. The setting of posts took one day. The build took two and a half days. The end result is a barn that does its job and looks clean and simple, just like I wanted.

After much consideration of overall cost factors of numerous options for putting up a small retreat home in the country, (log, traditional construction, modular home, concrete block/stucco structure, etc.) we chose WD Metal Buildings.  We liked the fact that they would put it up for us, and we felt the price for materials plus labor was reasonable.  We also liked that they do work all over the place and specialize in buildings outside of city limits.

Luke, who handled our initial calls and questions, was very polite and prompt in responding to our voice-mails.  We thought he represented WDMB very well.

After deciding to go with WDMB, we met with Wayne to ask some questions and he spent a generous amount of time with us patiently providing answers and options about some different ideas we wanted to explore.  Wayne is not only va nice man, but also obviously knowledgeable and competent in his line of work.  During that meeting, we toured a completed barndominium.  This was very  helpful in visualizing different possibilities for building it out as a residence.

Erik Cortina of Xtreme Concrete, a recommended provider for the slab, was also competent, responsive, professional, and reliable.  We were very happy with his completed work, and he was wonderful to work with.  It is clear that he takes pride in doing an excellent job.

We have not yet begun to finish out the inside of our structure, but can say that as a barn or shed, it would be top notch.  Could not recommend these guys more highly in terms of reliability, integrity, professional work, and capability.  Do not hesitate to call WDMB to put up your metal building.  You will be pleased!
