It is with great pleasure that we write to recommend the services of our Loan Officer, Robin Hill, LoansfromRobin.com (Starkey Mortgage). Robin worked with us from mid March to 24 Aug 2012 (when we closed on our new home!). We greatly benefited from her knowledge in the field and professional yet warm invaluable guidance throughout the usually tedious and intimidating process of selecting a loan program and completing all those seemingly endless loan application forms and other related equally long and intimidating issues one has to deal with when looking to buy a home. Robin was always available to answer any questions we asked and give us valuable advice, assistance and encouragement. She worked hard to get us the lowest mortgage loan rate possible once we thought we had found 'our' house. Unfortunately, that deal fell through so we had to start the house hunting process all over again. Robin's support and assistance never wavered. She stood by us all the way and once we found a new house, once again, she went above and beyond the call of duty to get us the same excellent rate as before. We can't imagine going to this process without Robin Hill. She is simply the best!

Starkey Mortgage was involved in the approval process and I worked with them through the closing as well as the servicing of my loan payments. The first problems I had were right before the closing of my home. There were discounts I was promised which were not communicated to the title company, so therefore the closing costs were incorrect and it was the day before I was set to close. It was practically impossibl to get anyone to call me back from the mortgage company and clear up the issue with the title company. Now my most recent problem is with the servicing of my loan payments. Soon after I closed my loan was transferred to a different company, which is not surprising. I received a letter from Starkey indicating that effective July 1, all payments should be made to a different company. So when I made the July payment to the other services, they told me that the July payment should have still been made to Starkey and the letter should have said August. Now Starkey is sending me delinquent notices because they communicated the wrong date to me. When I call them on the phone they act like it is no big deal and are very flippant about the issue. For a mortgage company they should know how serious these issues are to people and should be more professional on the phone, but instead he was so casual about it made it out to be no big deal. Maybe it is not that big of a deal to them because they have a history of mis-communicating with their customers. I will never use them again and I would caution anyone from using them. They were more expensive than other mortgage companies, but since they were recommended by my realtor I used them anyway.... Big mistake.

THEY WERE VERY INFORMATIVE, COURTEOUS AND RESPONSIVE. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF QUICKLY SCREENING US ON THE PHONE AND WERE PROMPT WITH PAPER WORK AND DEADLINES.
