We recently embarked on a large scale remodeling job of our entire backyard, which included the re-staining of the entire length of both our 8' and 6' cedar fences. After completing several interviews we chose a contractor who strongly endorsed the stain from Texas Wood Products. Unfortunately less than a month later we were disappointed in the early results. After completing several third party interviews to assess the source of the failure, it became unanimously clear that the our contractor had not properly prepared the fence, most notably it had not been power washed. Upon hearing the news of our dissatisfaction, Tom Baker at Texas Wood Products immediately inserted himself as he did not want his product or reputation "stained". Not only did Tom work to help identify the source of the failure and its resolution, but also, at his expense, hired a third party resource to re-stain the entire fence. Tom of course had absolutely no obligation to do so but wanted to ensure his product was delivering high quality and reliable results to his customers. I am very thankful that Tom at Texas Wood Products inserted to solve an otherwise unfortunate mis-application of of his excellent product.
