The locksmith did a good job of changing out a door hardware and adding a deadbolt. He was professional and the charge for the service was reasonable. I do believe the company could work on their communication with customers when there is going to be a delay in the locksmith would arrive.

I hired Texas Safe And Lock to install a safe I ordered online and I am so glad I did. It amazed me how quickly these guys moved my 800 pound safe down a hundred foot gravel driveway and through several obstacles to get it into the house. The owner was onsite during the installation and everyone was very polite professional. Their pricing is more than fair and I can't see myself ever calling anyone else for my safe and lock needs in the future.

We had a paddle release upon exit installed when we got a new security system at our business. Whenever the weather is cold, the door does not close completely. (See photograph below) They have been out several times to attempt to remedy the situation, but when it turns cold, we still have the issues. I was told today that it is a 'door problem' and not a lock problem. Take a look at the pictures below, and tell me that this type of shoddy installation would not cause problems?!?! The door started sticking again, and they are refusing to come out and to remedy the situation. There are spots on both the lock and the door where it is OBVIOUSLY rubbing... but yet, they refuse to come out. Now, he is telling me that there, maybe, isn't enough clearance for the paddle mechanism. Isn't something they should have mentioned before they installed it?What is the use of having a security system, with a paddle lock inside to secure the door, if every time the weather gets cold, it doesn't work?!?!

a few days before calling texas safe i had a horrible experience with a different company and was greatly overcharged. for the second project, jd from texas safe was on time, efficient, through, friendly and knowledgeable. i would definitely call them again.

I called Monday morning and their technician arrived in about an hour, even though I said that my need wasn't urgent. Dave was very knowledgeable about my specific latch, and he diagnosed the issue immediately. Baldwin, the manufacturer, for some reason doesn't sell to locksmiths, but Dave found the required part online and also referred me to a local supplier. Service doesn't get any better than this. I'm very satisfied and will definitely use them again.

This was the second time I've used Texas Safe & Lock. They have done a good job both times. On time and professional. No complaints.

We were moving from another city, heading into Dallas to close on a new home, and realized we should rekey the locks as soon as possible. I found Texas Safe and Lock on Angie's List on my phone, gave them a call, and they were able to meet us late the same day. The locksmith met us on time, needed a new mechanism to repair one lock, came back as scheduled. Great communication and job skills. Remembered to give us the Angie's List 10% off without me reminding him. Recommend without hesitation.

I brought in the lock and my existing key and within a matter of minutes the job was done. The facility was clean and the gentleman helping me was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Fantastic. I can't say enough nice things about Dennis Palmer--he did a superb job installing the new hardware, and then patiently showed me 3 or 4 times how to operate the new lock. He also made sure to use long (secure) screws--and even adjusted the doorknob strike plate so that IT pulled the door tight, instead of me having to pull the door to lock it. Would definitely hire again!

Locksmith was nice and professional. Work completed in timely manner. After inspecting work noticed wood areas where the latch goes into strike plate was damaged. Essentially didn't looks like they took a hammer and screwdriver to the wood and splintered/broke the wood to pieces behind the strike plate where the strum plate is barely hanging on. Left the heavy duty strike plate off of door and long screws not used. Also, they drilled the screws in and damaged the finish on the screws as well as made it where it will be difficult to use a screwdriver on them because they are somewhat stripped. Also one of the doors is stripped so badly it becomes loose after opening and shutting the door for awhile. I called to to discuss with owner Ron and he said no way his guys would do work like that and that the hardware I supplied brand new in the box was defective vs his locksmith performing poor quality work. Ron said I would need to pay $ 105 just to have one of his locksmiths come inspect the work they performed. Overall he was defensive and he had no need to be. I wasn't making anything up but he sure leaned in **** ** the no way my locksmith would do poor work or you are out of luck since you didn't buy the hardware from us. I would not recommend this company because if you have issues with the install you will be met by Ron a rude defensive business owner who doesn't take ownership or corrective action when his locksmiths perform poor quality work.

Great. Dennis arrived within 20 minutes, was professional and friendly. Lock was stubborn and had to drill the lock, but at least we got in. I would definitely use them again.

Not only did Dennis call to say he was on his way, but when he arrived, he was friendly and very helpful. Dennis did quality work and tried to save me money. On a separate occasion, I got the same helpful conversation from Ron when I tried to install locks, myself, on the sliding glass doors out to the patio. I have 2 sets of doors so I ordered 2 locks from the door manufacturer. When the locks came, I found out that they were keyed differently. I called Texas Safe & Lock and I spoke with Ron who suggested that I bring the keys and locks in to his shop (trying to save me a service trip fee) to have them rekeyed alike for only $15. Ron was super helpful and I will be going to see him about these locks very soon. I rarely take the time to write reviews but I've had nothing but excellent service from Texas Safe & Lock and they are happy to try to save you money and give you VERY HELPFUL INFORMATION so that you can make an informed decision.

Texas Safe & Lock came right over and was extremely professional. The gentleman had my door unlocked and me back into the house in minutes; and, even gave me some tips to prevent this mess from ever happening again.

Dale came for our service and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He performed his job with great care and cleaned up at the end. He gave me some good tips for regular maintenance and was extremely courteous.

Was done quickly and accurately. Had to pay extra as deadbolts were counted separate from the door lock. But I was told that when I was called to arrange date for service. It only cost $15 a lock extra. All the keys were tested to make sure they worked in locks.

Very, very well. We thought we needed to rekey everything and get all new keys since we had a new deadbolt installed and not all keys worked in all locks, even though they should have (cheap hardware store keys). Dennis only needed to rekey four of the locks and provide three additional keys, so it turned out to be cheaper than the phone estimate we received. Dennis obviously knows what he is doing. We highly recommend Texas Safe & Lock.

He offered suggestions over the phone for us to try to fix the issue on our own, which I really appreciate. When we couldn't fix it, he was at our home in well less than 30 minutes on a Sunday. He quickly fixed our problem, offered suggestions of things we can do to improve our exterior door security, and even fixed an additional item for no charge. Perfect experience.

Everything went very well. The office called ahead of the appointment to let me know he locksmith was on his way and he was on time. He installed the deadbolts and addressed my questions and security concerns. The fee was exactly what I had been told when I made the appointment minus 10% for the Angie's discount. Will definitely call Texas Safe & Lock again.
