years. About one year ago they began changing the model to emphasize the online
versus onsite support services. While I understand the economics of this I
don’t understand their lack of honesty in dealing with a customer base they no
longer want to or are unable to provide service to. I have spent the last eight
days leaving numerous voice mails, emails and talking with several individuals trying
to schedule an onsite service call. During this period I have been told they
might be able to do an onsite visit on Wednesday, then for sure on Friday and
last without a doubt on Sunday. Of
course no one either called or emailed me to follow through on this
commitment. I did receive an email this
morning asking if I wanted to schedule a quarterly online review of my computer
system. Talk about not having a clue! What perplexes me the most is why they
don’t just tell the customer the truth. Why continue to drag out this process
of saying you will provide services that you clearly cannot or will not do. While
I cannot judge their online service please be aware that if you ever need
onsite service at your business or home you should look somewhere else and save
yourself the time and aggravation of trying to work with Tech Butler.
