Great! They power-washed the fence. Cam back a few weeks later to stain. The employee was very careful to protect plants and structures from the stain by placing plastic sheeting as needed. He took time to wipe down metal posts and left no drips along the bottom. We were very pleased with the job.

I've used Superior for years to stain my fence in my Allen home. I'm in the process of selling a property in Frisco; so, I called them to give me a quote on the job. They had a quote to me within 48 hours and scheduled to come out and power wash and stain the following week. The team (2 guys) showed up exactly when promised and did an absolutely fantastic job. The first thing they did was inform me that one of the vehicles in front of the house was "in the danger zone" and recommended that I move it a little further down the street so there would be no chance of getting any stain on it (a little bit of wind that day.) They covered all of the plants and proceeded to re-stain the fence. They completed the job in about 2 hours and it was wonderful. Our neighbor had just had their fence re-stained by another company and there was huge difference in the look of what Superior did vs. the other company. When the team was finished, they cleaned up everything and it was like they had never been there. As I said, I've used them for years and they are the only people I will let touch my fence. I have found their work to be, as the name says, superior. As luck would have it, our realtor called the same day to say they had a prospective customer who wanted to see the property the following day (we hadn't even listed yet.) The first thing the customer saw (and commented on) was the beautiful fence. Offer pending :-) I would absolutely use them again (and will) once we're back in Allen (currently remodeling).

Would not recommend at all. We used them to stain a brand new fence and also to re-stain a set of faded shutters on the house. They didn't show on the day they were scheduled and gave no notice until the next day when they left a voicemail saying they'd be there the following day. They then forgot to stain the shutters.
The crew didn't do a good job cleaning up: they left dirty stain-soaked rags laying around the yard and patio, they scraped their muddy boots off on the freshly stained fence crossrails, and they didn't take the time to hook back up the hoses they had disconnected. Worst was that they got stain on surroundings that they didn't bother to clean up like the gate hardware which I had to go out and wash off myself, and also when they did come back to do the shutters they got stain on nearby roof shingles and brick which I had to get on a ladder to clean off.
The fence looked bad because there were streaks of stain that dripped or ran down the horizontal rails and baseboards, and then they didn't even attempt to fix it when they came out the second time to do the shutters they missed. It took several calls and another no show on the day he originally was supposed to come before their quality control manager finally came out and fixed the streaks on the fence.
Edited to Add: We had used them two times previously to re-stain our older fence, about 4 and 7 years ago, and their punctuality, work, and attention to detail was much better at the time which is why we used them this time. Don't know if there was a change in management or work staff, but currently would not use them again.

Very well, a little over spray on to the neighbor's property but honestly the job turned out well. A year later the fence still looks good. Their office staff was professional and nice on the phone.

It went real well. When they first came out they recommended that I go with a lighter color stain. They had to reschedule the job since I decided to go with the recommendation. I was glad I did. The fence looks great. The crew of 2 guys did a great job on the fence an making sure no other areas were hit with any over spray. These guys gave me the best price of the 3 bids I received. I plan to use them again in 5 years to re-stain my fence again.

Everything went well. The fence is beautiful! There were no problems with over spraying or anything like that. The work was done exactly as promised and on a timely basis. The staff was easy to work with, professional throughout the process.

Everything went great. The fence looks wonderful. All staff and workers with whom we dealt were courteous and professional. The job came in within budget with no unpleasant surprises. I could not be more pleased and highly recommend Superior Wood Care for your power washing and staining needs.

They did a great job. Very clean, no overspray other than along the bottom of the fence on the grass which cannot be avoided. The metal poles were cleaned, no overspray on windows or my brick. They cancelled my first appointment due to high winds which means they care about your property and overspray issues. The two man crew was fast and polite. I will use them again.

We have used Superior Wood Care three or four times on our fence over the past 15 years. However the last fence re-stain (2011) did not turn out well. After many promises to to come back and reschedule a touch up, it never happened despite multiple telephone conversations and emails. Used to be good, the guarantee does not appear to be honored. Time to take their sign off and look for other provider. Enough time has gone by.

The crew showed up to power wash the wood fence on the same day another contractor was installing a custom ornamental iron fence around our pool area. Then the same Superior Wood Care crew returned a couple of days later for staining of our arbor, fence and swing set. They spilled excessive chemicals killing large areas of our lawn. The crew took zero care to cover the new ornamental fence. Their chemicals ended up being sprayed on the iron fence which ultimately caused the finsih to be cloudy and marred. Although they sent their crew out to degrease the ornamental fence they did a terrible job. Salesman, Eric Taylor said that he would do it himself so it was done right. It took several days before this was done which gave their product lots of time in high heat conditions on the metal.
The end result is that we have damage to the finish on the iron fence. They state it is not from their chemicals but the fault of the powdercoat. All was well with our new iron before they oversprayed. They sent out a lawn service to look at damaged grass. They threw some fertilizer granules down but the lawn is still dead after 30++ days of ideal growing season. Mgr. Paul Hartwell came out and said that he will have grass replaced and 75 ft of garden hose that they stained also. Still no action from him to get this done or pay us to take care of it. They refuse to pay anything for the sections of ornamental fencing that needs to be recoated either. We have left messages for Tom Heumiller, the owner, to call us but he does not return calls. Manager Hartwell advised us that Tom Heumiller is too busy to call us.
We are left with large dead areas from toxic chemicals. We have a brand new ornamental fence that has a damaged finish and empty promises from Superior Wood Care.

They are pretty straight forward but I did have to have them come out a couple times to clean up. The job was good but they had to come out to finish cleaning up.

Crew came out to stain our fence. They tried to cover all our patio furniture, trees and pool with tarp to protect them from the chemicals but didn't do a great job. Some of the staining materials got into the pool. Following the fence staining they washed our deck with soap and water. It was very haphazard. They ended up putting a lot of soap in our pool which made it look like a bubble bath for several days after they left. They also did a poor job protecting the grass when they stained the bottom of our fence. There is now a yard wide brown strip on our yard all around the bottom of our fence.
The actual stain job on the fence looks fine but the residual damage would have me recommend someone else for the job.

They painted our side yard fence about 5 years ago, so when we decided to paint our entire fence plus side yard fence and gates, we called them again, since the paint still looked good. Paul came out and gave an estimate and even gave us a 10% "repeat customer" discount. Price was reasonable, so we set up a time; they run about 3-4 weeks into the future. First they come out to do an acid wash, then two days later they come to paint. (in our case, there was rain, so they waited another few days, but let us know first.) They were on time both days, and their office staff, which is knowledgable and courteous, gave us reminder/ETA calls, etc. They did a good job all around. Fast and efficient- they know what they are doing! The only reason I gave a "B" in professionalism was that the two workers tended to holler loudly in Spanish as they worked, which made my dogs bark, and I didn't want to alert my neighbors that they were on their property. Plus I prefer workmen to be quiet...But I do recommend them.

Very prompt setting up estimate visit. Rep was professional and polite. Did not pressure me and was open to answering my questions. I also got two other estimates for the exact same work and Superior Wood care came in lowest. However, I didn't feel like they were lower because they were lower quality, in fact, I felt more comfortable with them as a business and the quality of their work than the higher priced competitor. We had close to 2,500 sq ft of fencing done so this was no small task. They cleaned up, didn't destroy my plants or pool and it still looks great. Our neighbors have even taken note of who did the work because they were home the day it was done and were impressed with how they worked.

A man came to give me an estimate. He was prompt, efficient and professional. The office personnel were very friendly, helpful, and professional. However, we did have a few problems. They first set up a day for the cleaning and had to postpone that a day. The cleaning solution they used left spots on the ceilings of our porches. It must have been some kind of bleach. If I had known, I would have asked them to cover it or skip the cleaning of the beams. Then for the staining which was to happen 2 days later, they were over-booked and canceled their appointment 3 different times before they finally came over a week later. And they weren't even going to come the last time because they said it was too windy, but it wasn't windy at all at my house so I asked them to come and they did. I understand that things come up and appointments need to be changed, but the first time it happened, no one even called me to let me know. After I complained about that, they were good to call me each time they needed to cancel. Then when the 2 guys came to do the staining, they didn't speak English very well and they weren't very professional or friendly in their demeanor. Once they got going, it seemed that they knew what they were doing and it does look very nice now. Unfortunately, they broke a couple of items in the yard: a pool skimming net and a glass coaster. Also, they weren't very effective in moving patio furniture and other items out of the way of the spray of the stain. An ottoman cushion and a hammock got sprayed. They also managed to kill a few plants that should have been covered to protect them from the spray. The protection of property seemed hasty and sloppy. They did a great job of protecting the house itself from the overspray though. I haven't found any spots on the house that were stained that shouldn't have been. When they left, they didn't return any of the items they moved to get out of the way of the spraying which was annoying. They used our hose faucet which had a splitter on it which they removed and they didn't put this back on. I didn't complain about any of these things to the guys because they just left without saying anything. Later my credit card was charged. I had a coupon and had to call to have them refund that amount to my card, but they said they would without any questions or troubles. I think they have a good company and a good process for staining, but could use more professional workers in the field. And perhaps be more honest with themselves as to how many jobs they can really take on during the busy season.

They did a good job and gave us a good quote. I would say the quality was fair to good. They killed off some of our grass because they got some stain on the yard. They did a really nice job on the fence. From a scheduling perspective they were very responsible and made sure I knew what was going on at all times. There were strong winds when they did this work. They made sure they stayed on top of this. I would hire them again.

Called on 9/4. Estimator came 9/6. Very nice, left the proposal and his card. He said they were scheduling into October because the heavy rains had affected their schedule. We emailed him asking for some residence addresses to check out the two colors they offered. We had done this with another company and wanted to compare results. We liked the cedartone fence color and mailed them the signed contract and 20% deposit. After a week or two we called to see when we were scheduled and were told 10/9. There were further rain delays, and they didn't come until 10/13. They got about one-third through and had to quit due to wind blowing the stain around. They came back 10/19 and finished the job. They cleaned up after themselves, and the fence looks great. We wish it hadn't been so drawn out, but we saw for ourselves what was happening with the weather. Their office staff called each time the day before they were scheduled, so we weren't surprised by what happened.

I used the recommendation from my neighbors and I was just as happy with their service as they were and would ask you what you want and follow up with you before they actually put the stain on the fence. I think that is very professional and I will recommend them to others also.
