Starwood Shutters & Blinds

Pedro came in late June and spent an hour measuring each window. He gave us several options to choose from, and offered helpful suggestions. There was a special going on for a free real wood upgrade, which sounded too good to be true, but we jumped on it regardless. About two months later, Pedro showed up when he said he would, and got right to work. Two hours later, our shutters were installed and beautiful! We are very satisfied and would call Starwood again for any window treatments,

The blinds repairs were very good. The price was very fair considering they upgraded the carpet for me at the same price of a lesser quality carpet, they were very punctual and showed up on time and quickly installed the carpet. I did have an issue with the installers using tack boards that had nails that were too long. When I went to do my walk through, I wanted them to pound down those nails as I don't want the little ones stepping on them. They were rather reluctant to do this saying that by pounding down the nails the carpet would come loose. The nails were not pounded down and my niece and nephew did end up stepping on them and injuring themselves, drawing blood with puncture wounds. Future use of this vendor depends upon the outcome of this tack board/nail issue. Please see my review under: Starwood Wholesale Distributors --as this is the same owner/operator. I have a complaint resolution pending regarding the nails.

Chuck Massey came out and did the measurements. He is very professional. I checked several other providers and he gave me the lower price for what I wanted; 3 1/2 inch wood blinds made to fit my windows. It took about 8 weeks to get the blinds but they are beautiful. When the men came out to do the install, they even put carpet on the sidewalk so they would not track dirt on my new hardwood floors. This company is awesome and I would recommend them to anybody.

They did a great job and the shutters fit perfectly. It did take a couple of fittings but the man doing the job made certain they fit prefectly and I am very satisfied. I am also a perfectionist.
