WE MOVED INTO A NEW HOME IN A NEW SUBDIVISION, THAT SEEMED TO BE THE CAUSE OF MUCH OF THE CONFUSION ON WHETHER DSL COULD EVEN BE INSTALLED AT ALL. I SPENT OVER AN HOUR ON THE PHONE WITH VARIOUS LEVELS OF TECH PEOPLE GETTING MY MANY QUESTIONS ANSWERED. (I'M IN COMPUTER REPAIR SO I HAD SOME TECH QUESTIONS THEY JUST WEREN'T SURE HOW TO ANSWER.) EVERYONE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND GOT EVERYTHING ANSWERED. THE INSTALLATION WAS SCHEDULED BUT NO DSL MODEM ARRIVED AND NO ONE CALLED. IT SEEMS THEIR COMPUTER CANCELLED THE INSTALLATION AS AN INVALID ADDRESS. I WORKED WITH KYLE NICKASCH OF THE SBC RESOLUTION TEAM. HE STRAIGHTENED THINGS OUT AND EVEN GAVE ME HIS E-MAIL ADDRESS. HE ALSO FOLLOWED UP ON THE INSTALLATION WHICH WENT FLAWLESSLY AFTER HIS INVOLVEMENT. THE BANDWIDTH THROUGHPUT CONSISTENTLY EXCEEDS THE RATED SPECS. AT ONLY 29.95 A MONTH, IT'S REALLY A BETTER DEAL THAN A CABLE MODEM ONCE YOU ADD ON THE REQUIRED BASIC CABLE. HINT: GET A CONTACT NAME, PHONE NUMBER AND E-MAIL ADDRESS WHEN ORDERING.
