Flexible, reasonable, partnered through every issue ever encountered. Owner is fabulous, teachers are sometimes strict with the children but usually very well-intended.

We love Preston - Park. Our daughter has grown so much under their care.

My (almost) three year old son is very social and far ahead of many of his peers in his verbal ability. I attribute a good deal of these accomplishments to PPMA.

I pay them $188 per week. No complaints; PPMA responded to the initial questions quickly and thoroughly. They give the impression that they are fully invested in each child's welfare and potential.

I have an 18mnth old and a 5 yr old. We visited with Preston Park Montessori for 2 days(a Thursday and Friday) before deciding to go full-time the next week. Three days into the first week, I began to feel it was not a good fit for us. Unfortunately, I had paid on the first day for the whole month (4 weeks). By Thursday of the first week, I decided to find a different place and let them know that we wished to withdraw. They said there was a notice period of 2 weeks to withdraw (which was somewhere in the Handbook but I didnot know). They said they would let me know if they could refund my money the week after. The second week, I call a couple of times and the director was out so no decision could be made. The third week i call a couple of times and they said they would refund the money but since it had already been deposited, could I please wait a week. The fourth week I call a couple or more times, and they finally tell me that they cannot refund the money except for ONE week. Note that for 4 weeks they did not have the courtesy to return my calls and I had to hound them and leave numbers and messages. They kept me waiting for 4 weeks and then decided they would charge me for the ONE week my 2 kids were actually there (which is fair) and for TWO weeks that they weren't (notice period). Not a small amount of money for 2 children!!!!!
Few things about the daycare itself....The teachers have been here a long time and food is fresh and cooked onsite. The preschoolers are well taught. They do watch TV for 30 minutes on Fridays, even the toddlers. I felt the toddler room was very small and crowded for the number of kids in there. I was told the toddler room ratio would be 2:12. I walked in during naptime one day and saw 1 teacher and 17(or more) kids sleeping on mats on the floor with several of them crying. I know this is allowed in the state minimum but i paid for my child to be looked after 1/6th of the time. Parents need to know that they will switch between their advertised ratios and state minimums when convenient (to them).
Extremely unhappy with the way they handled this. We have been to at least four other daycares (all NAEYC Accredited) in other states and every one of them has been willing to go out of their way to work with the parents.

See above. Overall, I highly recommend to anyone looking for childcare. Their grade should be an A+. Their record with the state also supports that. When I began looking for a new place, I wanted to see if they've had any infractions. This is one of the few places that I saw with NO state infractions.

The care and curriculum is appropriate for each age group. The food is healthy. The teachers are very caring. The owner is frequently on site and knows most parents by name.
