I had a really old one, they came to check something, offered. Deal for opener, door opener, keypad, belt system, lubed everything, gave me maintenance tips.

I called yesterday. Andrew was out a few hours later. My door was only going up a foot. He fixed the problem and a few others. It’s working perfectly and very quietly. Excellent experience.

Super easy to reach, came out in hours during the agreed window, the tech was fast, courteous and efficient! He explained everything and the repair was done fast! He even went the extra mile and adjusted the rails.

Had one broken spring/coil on my garage door. Ended up selecting Plano Overhead Garage Door to replace both springs based on the stellar reviews on Angi and other sites. James arrived on time and reviewed his planned actions. He was very knowledgeable and professional. After replacing the springs and doing some maintenance on the tracks, we agreed that the 25 year old opener was on it's last legs. James gave me written quotes to install a garage door opener that I purchased on my own or to install a better opener purchased via Plano Overhead. I opted for the latter. James came back the next day and installed the opener, reviewed it's operation with me and how to connect it to WIFI for remote operation and monitoring. Totally satisfied with the work done by Plano Overhead Garage Door in general and with their outstanding technician James M in particular!

The technicians did an excellent job! They were very thorough and worked very efficiently. They also replaced a hinge on the door that was about to break. The replacement hinge did not add to the cost of the job. This was the third time I have used Plano Overhead Garage Door. Earlier they had replaced a dead garage door opener and corrected a sensor issue with the opener. I highly recommend them.

Plano Overhead Garage Door saved the day for me!! My door stopped going up, of course with my car IN my garage and after hours, so I left a VM message asking for a call back the next morning. Everything went great! Our garage door opener was original to our home (builder grade) which was new when we bought it. It lasted 17 years and was very noisy. We called to have it replaced and have an awesome new opener that exceeded our expectations. Jacob O’Bier was our technician and he was very professional and courteous, explained how to install the app on our phones, and features of the new opener. We highly recommend this company and will be referring our friends and neighbors.

I called for an estimate to repair my garage door. Paul came out and I was impressed by his professionalism and willingness to provide details about my options. I decided to go for a new door, based on the things Paul told me, and because I was very happy with our initial visit, I requested him to do the installation. Paul came and reviewed with me what I was wanting, and brought a couple additional items that could be installed at no extra cost, such as a different track that he recommended. He also asked me a few questions about the placement of the door, showing he was genuinely interested in having the most space in my garage. He did the work and was very thorough. He even re-aligned my opener and reset the thrust on my opener to account for the heavier door. I asked him about lubrication of the components, and showed him the lubricants I had. He confirmed they were all good, and showed me where I should lubricate for best performance. Paul was very courteous, polite, and professional. His initial impression on my led to a new door sale, and I am very happy with the work he did. I would like to request him for any additional maintenance that may be needed in the future. Donnie came out to assess problem (old broken suspension spring) and explained problem and offered options. Agreed to torsion spring conversion and scheduled time for work (about 36 hours later). He arrived back a few minutes early and converted both doors to new spring system quickly. Spent extra time doing fine-tuning and leveling of tracks and adjusted new opener stops. He also replaced all the rollers on doors and lubricated hinges and rollers )and taught me how to do it for ongoing maintenance. The garage was cleaner when he left than when he arrived. Fast, efficient, and affordable!

As in the past P.O.G.D. was contacted on a Friday and came out and fixed the problem on Monday, everything was done as requested and we WILL use them again the next time we need garage door service! A Best Buy you might say! $189.00 total for a job well done!

This is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with! Sent a contact inquiry based on the reviews of other customers. They immediately contacted me back and scheduled an appointment for the next day. On appointment day, their technician was held up at a previous job, and they called me and rescheduled for the next morning. Arriving promptly they looked over my garage door And gave me all my options. Absolutely no pressure. Got a quote for replacement of my opener that seemed reasonable. Within half an hour a technician arrived with the parts and within another hour the job was done. They programmed all of my remotes, so it was ready to go. Do not go anywhere else for your garage door repair or replacement. There’s a good reason this company has been in business since 1977: Service!

The technicians arrived on time as scheduled. They explained what needed to be done and gave a precise time as to how long the job will take. They actually finished a little early. They were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend if looking to have a garage door replaced.

We had an early morning "garage door emergency" - called the company as soon as they opened, and they were able to schedule us for a same-day service appointment. The appointment was for early afternoon, but they said if they could get someone out earlier they would. Turns out they could and they did....and before noon we had our problem diagnosed, and our options for repair or replace explained. Given the age and condition of our door, we decided to replace. The door we wanted was in stock, and we were able to get it installed that day! Brian (with an assist from Kyle) did the installation. Brian kept us informed thoughout the process, and when it was complete -- he took the time to really explain how to maintain the new garage door. We appreciate that. It's amazing how quickly and efficently these guys work. We were very impressed by everyone we dealt with - Plano Overhead Garage Door will be our "go-to" garage door company from now on.
