First, he was my dad’s doctor and then became the doctor of my entire family. He is wonderful. He is always Dallas’ top ten doctors. He always gets amazing reviews. He is another doctor that will take as long as you need. If you have a thousand questions, he will answer them. He returns your call personally. He’ll call to check on you, which most doctors don’t do anymore. If I’ve been really sick, he’ll call me and check on me making sure that I’m okay and the same for my husband. I would highly recommend him to anybody.

Fast forward...This was the second time in a few months I made an appointment with Dr. Tigges specifically for Blood Pressure check because I was getting high readings at home. On my first very quick appointment, the nurse and Dr. seemed hurried and uninterested, as always, in my notes or checking my BP monitor which I brought with me.He took a reading and said I was fine and sent me on my way! $50 co-pay please.
My Blood Pressure continued to be high and I made another appointment a month later, another $50 co-pay, and brought in new Blood Pressure readings taken every few hours including 154/108. Dr. Tigges was mildly interested. On this visit, he gave me sample of a new BP medicine and told me to call in a few weeks if my BP was better to get a prescription. Goodbye!!
I called his nurse today and left a message to return my phone call to get a 90 day mail-in supply with my insurance company. When she called she was extremely rude and short on the phone. She asked for the mail-in Prescription phone number. I gave her the only # I could find which was a Customer Service number for us regular folks. She told me that if she used the number to call in and it took her too long, she was not going to wait on the line and would send me my prescription by mail. I guess it's OK for patients to sit in waiting rooms for the Dr. but it's not OK for the nurses to be on hold to call in your prescription to save your life. That would be a bother. Did she even think to ask if I had enough supply to last me? My other doctors e-mail prescriptions for me...no rudeness.
I was fed up with her attitude and told her to mail it and she took the opportunity and then hung up on me! I guess she doesn't care that there is no mail today because of the holiday, it will go out on Tuesday and who knows when I will get it. I guess I am the one waiting now. The Dr., Nurses and staff here are not friendly. With so many Dr.s to choose from in Dallas and Plano, I would move on.

She is an internist, very well informed and updated on current research. She was highly recommended by our neighbor through my wife. Definitely, I would use her services again in the future because she has provided me comfort and care.

Good diagnostician. I sometimes feel like he thinks I am a hypochondriac.

They are excellent. I like everything about them. The staff friendliness is excellent. It is not hard at all to get scheduled for an appointment. The effectiveness of treatment is very good. Their location is also very convenient.

He had me right in, took care of me and took care of everything. There were no delays. His staff is terrific. He is absolutely painless in my opinion. It is my one stop shop. I would rate him highly and would continue to see him in the future.
