Paradise Pools (Jim) came to evaluate an insurance claim issue denied by a previous service (see my write-up's) i.e.,it was a second opinion review ordered by the insurance carrier. It was a holiday weekend and I was told by the insurance company not to expect them until the following Tuesday. However, Jim called and wanted to come out on the weekend. Not only did he come on the holiday, but he was also 45 minutes early. Kinda hard to downgrade him on promptness or punctuality. :-)
As I anticipated, and anyone with half a brain could figure out, he had the problem solved (and fixed) withing ten minutes.
I am not sure if he was compensated by the insurance company, but I offered to pay him directly. Regardless, he was extremely professional and obviously knew what he was doing.

I have been using another pool service for the past three years for basic preventative maintenance. I have a very low maintenance system. The service has been very good, but they have never gone out of their way to service my account. Jim did; consequently, I'll be calling Paradise for our next service to see how they perform under normal circumstances.
Personally, I doubt if I'll be disappointed.

Before using Paradise Pool, we had two other pool companies that were sent by the warranty company. It was very frustrating because the other two companies did a VERY POOR job. Our pool did not run for three weeks because filter and pump were both broken. So glad Jim came to rescue. I called Jim first thing on Monday, he was able and willing to squeeze the appointment into his schedule to stop by that afternoon. He called that night and reported the status. The next day he went back and replaced all the parts. By Tuesday night, the pool was back up running. I did not have to call 5 times a day trying to find out the status. Jim just took care of it all and it was definitely worry-free. I wish I used Paradise Pool in the very beginning! It would save so much headache, frustration, and argument with the warranty company!!

Noticed my pool pump was making a hum when attempting to start, but would then click off. I checked the impeller and noted free movement. I utilized my warranty service (American Home Shield) to find me a pool repair expert. Upon initial contact, Paradise knew what the problem was and came out to fix it on the same day.
Fairly punctual, and quick to repair.

After the pool / spa heater quit working last season , I was referred to Paradise Pool, Jim came out and inspected our current equipment and came to the conclusion it was not cost effective to repair. After deciding to continue to move forward with replacement of the heater Jim quickly arranged and scheduled a time and date to perform the work. Every call was answered, all appointments were made at the prearranged time. I am completely impressed and will recommend Paradise Pools to family and friends.

The initial inspection appointment went well. We called about a week in advance to schedule an initial pool service and schedule installation of a new heater. Jim indicated he would contact us on Friday afternoon or Monday morning (5/29 or 6/1) to indicate when he would be arriving on Monday to do the work. Well Monday came and we had heard nothing. We made a couple of follow up calls Monday morning and early Monday afternoon and we got no response. Basically, he never followed up and never answered our calls. I find that extremely unprofessional and will not endeavor to contact him again.
