I had the option to repair but it was going to cost more than the price of a new vacuum so I decided to replace the vacuum instead. However, there was no pressure from Lone Star to buy there or make a quick decision. I purchased on amazon but would go back here for repairs.

Lonestar gave me the options and suggested an upright rather than a canister to save some money. I purchased the Miele Cat and Dog vacuum. While it was pricey, over the life of the vacuum, I feel like I got a fair deal. Tired of replacing my vacuum every 2 years.
