Gave Fall cut and bathed: my dog loves the groomer (can't remember his name but they have it noted in the record) and runs to him when he sees him. He usually runs away from a groomer

I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and brought him in for the first time on the recommendation of a neighbor. When I explained I did not want his fur to be shorn (like a sheep), the receptionist had a difficult time understanding. She let me speak to the groomer who would be responsible for the cut. She seemed to understand exactly what to do, and I felt better as I left. About 3 hours later, when I picked him up, I was dumbfounded. Not only did she not do what I asked (a typical Cavalier cut), but had cut fur down to the skin in odd areas (halfway up his leg, for example). It was like someone got her attention while she was grooming and -oops!- the electric razor went a little too far. As well, he had 2 cuts in his groin area. One cut is not too uncommon, but two... Not only will I not recommend Legacy Grooming, but I will dissuade anyone from going there.

This is the second time I have used Legacy Grooming, and I am very pleased with them. I prefer the choice to take my dog in for her grooming at an appointed time and picking her up in a 3-hour window vs. leaving her somewhere for the whole day waiting for her to get her cut. It is less stress on my dog. The grooming she gets is the best! It is a great cut! The people at Legacy are very nice and kind. I will continue to use Legacy.

They really work with you. One of my cats was put down and they told me how to take care of the other car. I took my dog also there. They are very punctual and professional.

He always looks wonderful when we get him back. He is less stressed out when we get him back from here than other groomers. They are also respectful of my desire to treat my small dog as a regular dog and not a tiny person. They don't allow him to jump on them or let him run around with no control.

Ephraim and Kari are always friendly and polite and go out of their way to make the experience painless for all of us! Highly recommended. They remember each dog and are always happy to see them. The dogs aren't afraid when we hit the door like they are every time we go to the Vet.

My dog does not mind going here. They call you as soon as your dog is finished which is good when you have a dog that is shy. The runs are up front and not in the back so the animals are not hidden in the back, the animals can see what is going on up front. Pricing is less here than other places. I am a lifetime customer and I would highly recommend them.

After leaving my 2 dogs for their pet grooming, I left feeling OK. When the owner called me a few hours later to tell me they were completed, I picked them up. At first, they looked OK, since the employees rushed the dogs into my arms without being able to examine them first. The owner will not accept a check; credit card or cash only. He states "you get a discount if you pay in cash," which I did not. On the credit card receipt, there was a space labeled "tip" for the groomers. Embarrassed, I felt it was necessary, so I paid that too. Legacy Groomers advertises that it is family owned and operated, but there were many young girls there that were merely employees, and certainly didn't look like his family. I felt extremely rushed and hurried out the door. They didn't even allow me me the time to place my dogs' collars and leash back on them, with which to take them home. Upon arriving home with the dogs, I noticed that both of them had their fur cut way too short. On the female, her neck is reddened and sore from being shaved too closely, and her whole face is too short. I specifically told the owner that I wanted it left long. Her "skirt" is also too short, although I told the owner to leave it long. The male's "skirt" is not only too short also, but it is totally crooked too. It goes up and down in length. Very uneven and jagged. His whole cut is way too short as well, despite explicit instructions to leave their coats long. In addition, he quoted me a fee of $38.00 per dog. That would equal $76.00 for 2 dogs, PLUS the 8.25% tax, the total should be $82.23. However, the charge slip read $82.27. That isn't too much of a difference, but just multiply that by the hundreds of unknowing customers that overpay as well. I will never return. I am very upset and will not return.

I have been using this company for some time now. They always do a good job. They are easy to get an appointment with and have a clean establishment. The people are nice, friendly, and they will call you to pick up your dog when they are done.
