Kleen Air Services

It was a holiday weekend, so our regular provider was unavailable. We scheduled a Saturday morning appointment for a 9am-11am window and were advised that a $49.95 fee is assessed for a service call. Cody arrived at roughly 9am and inspected both air conditioning units. He determined the need for a new unit on zone 1 and discussed his findings with us, explaining that there was a leak in the refrigerant line which a temporary repair would not provide a long-term solution. He sent us a bid via email but also understood we had a long-standing relationship with a different company and would likely want to have them do any major work. We did decide to contract with our regular provider for a more energy-efficient unit and a new furnace.

The AC company we have a service agreement with would not agree to do the work because of the heat in attic and concern for their technicians. Two other companies gave me similar story - would not do this job until late Sept when weather cools down. When I called Kleen Air, they were honest to tell me they would be glad to help but that I should first try to get the company that installed this new unit (in 2017) for warranty reasons. But after many failed attempts to get that other company to even come out, I went back to Kleen Air and asked for their help. They promptly came out within a couple days, did the job that corrected the flow of air, and billed for a reasonable price. That room and rest of house cool and comfortable now. Kleen Air helped me when I needed it, and when others would not. I want a company I can trust and depend on. To me, Kleen Air demonstrated that honesty and dependability.

All good, Jesse was knowledgable, he replaced some capcitors and realigned ductwork while others cleaned ductwork.

They usually send the same person, so you kind of get to know them and have the same employees. I've been with them for so long. They're always very good about coming out. They call before they come and give you a window and call when they're on their way so that's nice.

Kleen Air Service came out as a referral from my Home Maintenance Co.  I placed the call at 9am Sat morning and they were able to fit me in with an appointment that afternoon.  I cannot tell you how much I appreciated that, since the temperature in the house was slowing rising as a result of the  outside AC fan not working AND it is summer time in TEXAS!!!!
The tech was professional, efficient, answered all my questions and was in and out before I knew it. 
I called Kleen later with a few other questions and spoke with the owner Russell Pattinson, who was very helpful and informative.
I would highly recommend this company, especially since there are a lot of "ripoffs" in the industry and hard to feel confident not knowing till its too late.
As a note, I did not have to pay for the visit since my Home Maintenance Plan covered all the charges.

I called that morning and had a technician at my home within 4-5 hours. The issue that prompted the call was a room that seemed to have issues cooling down. After the technician (Jesse) arrived, he reviewed the HVAC system and advised (very clearly) what the cause of the issue was. He was able to explain what needed to be done, and this information was extremely helpful in the report that I submitted to have this corrected by the original installer. Jesse (technician) was able to identify the problem in a matter of minutes, where the original installer had not done on multiple service calls following us moving into our house. This saved us hundreds of dollars. Jesse has been a technician with Kleen Air for 18 years, and this experience was very evident in his knowledge of the systems, and the professionalism in which he conducted himself.
The service went very well, and we signed up for the annual service plan for $250 (for two units). The cost would have been approx. $99.90 for call out and AC check (this would not have included some of the service items carried out by the service agreement).
Happy to have had Kleen Air Services come by and looking forward to an ongoing service relationship with them.

I got a call from the dispatcher telling me the tech was on the way. The tech showed up within half an hour of that call. He checked the electrical, capacitors, filter and thermostat. Cleaned the gunk out of the compressor coil, but the unit still wasn't cooling adequately, so he added 1.5 pounds of freon. After that, it was working great.

They were very professional and fixed the problem.
