Jackson Roofing did a great job on our new roof. They were very responsive and worked closely with our insurance company. The workers were clean and polite. They prepped everything and cleaned up all the nails and old shingles. We would definitely use them again, and I highly recommend Jackson Roofing.

I was happy with the service. They came out and installed it within a day. I liked the gentleman that owns the company, I think it was a husband wife's team and they came out and presented themselves very well, gave me a fair price and got it installed very quickly and I had no issues with it.

Contacted Jackson after my original contractor went bankrupt. The owner, Chris, was very helpful, suggested the most economical but quality solutions and scheduled a crew the next week. The crew was fast, courteous and did excellent work. When I experienced a leak they checked it out immediately. (Turned out to be an unrelated plumbing problem NOT the roof) I would highly recommend them.

Hired Jackson Roofing after a hail storm damaged several roofs in surrounding area. My neighbor referred Jackson and he ended up doing 4 or 5 roofs on my street alone. I decided that since roof being replaced, now was a good time to do gutters and paint trim. He got the people to do both and I couldn't have been more pleased with the work these folks did. Now, just the roof needed to be done. Started on 10/29 and finished 10/30, and they also installed new attic fans. At first glance it looked good, but on the back of the house there were some areas where the shingles didn't lay flat. He agreed it wasn't right and that he would get his roofer back out to look at it. Around this same time, I went up into the attic to try the attic fans, and when I turned them on, I could hear that they were hitting plastic. Apparently they didn't take all of the packing off of them before installing. I mentioned this to Chris, the owner, and he said ok, we'll take care of it. It took them a good 3 to 4 weeks before they could come back out to heat up the roof to fix the shingles that were not lying flat, but it got done. I asked if they took the plastic out of the fans...no, and quot;I'll take care of it todayand quot;. Ok, here we are in Feb 2013 and it still hasn't been done. And now, I've noticed 3 leaks in my ceiling all in the same room. I text Chris on 1/15, never heard from him. Sent an email through his company website two weeks later, which he acknowledged, but I haven't heard a word since. I really don't think he has any intention of coming back out again.
He also ran out of ridge cap over my bay window where there are 3 ridges. One goes down to the roof line like it should and the other 2 only go half way. Right after they finished on 10/30, he told me we ran out of ridge cap or whatever its called, so I assumed they would order more and finish it....NOPE, that's how he left it. In driving around I have never seen this ridge cap only go half way down...ugh!
Need less to say I'm extremely frustrated with the lack of professionalism and quality of work regarding this roof. Keep in mind that I got Impact Resistant Shingles which is one the more expensive roofs. Chris is a salesmen and that's about it. I will take this further and send a note to the BBB.
It will probably come down to me hiring another roofer all together to fix the shotty workmanship I got from Jackson Roofing.
Think twice before falling for his ever caring, and quot;I can't sleep unless my customers are happyand quot; bs.
