Pete and his team did a fantastic remodel in our house. It was a huge project consisting of drywall repair, painting 15-20ft ceilings and walls, painting stairs, doors and all the crown molding. They worked in two stages. They painted first, then we had another contract to do the floors, and then they returned again to paint all the baseboards and shoe moldings. The crew was always punctual and worked all day. The level of work was absolutely exceptional! They were extremely professional. I am very impressed with this kind of work in today’s world. Highly recommend this company!

Hutch-N-Son is the best business I have ever worked with for my home projects, and I have had many home repairs. I found this company in Google search and based on all the the positive reviews, decided to give it a try, however I was still hesitant and very skeptical about my choice. I need to say that the whole process from quoting, to scheduling a start and finishing dates went unbelievably smooth. Pete, the owner of the company, and his crew are amazing people. Every morning EXACTLY at 8:30 a crew of four people showed up at my front door. Every day Pete stopped by to make sure that we are satisfied and happy. And our house was a disaster after the roof leak and significant water damage. The scope of work was pretty big. We needed to patch the entire fireplace wall. New insulation, new sheetrock, ceiling patch , texturing, painting the entire living room with 15-20ft, painting 20ft ceilings, multiple other rooms, painting all the trim, sanding and painting the stairs. The whole project was done in one week!!! The quality of work was exceptionally good. I must admit that i am a perfectionist and my expectations are very high. THESE GUYS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. I wish we could have more companies and contractors like HUTC-N-SON. We want to thank you Pete and your crew for all your hard work and dedication. We appreciate you guys so much and we truly enjoy our fresh, clean and beautiful house. P.S. I forgot to mention that all the floors and furniture were covered and protected. Upon finishing everything was cleaned up.

Pete and his team are true professionals. It has been a pleasure to work with them from start to finish. We had our Kitchen and Den painted which included cabinets, paneling, drywall, and ceiling. Pete's crew arrived every morning at 8:30, took their time, cleaned up, and the finished project is exactly as we had hoped. We will be painting another part of our home in the near future and will be calling Pete to schedule this job also.

Most of the interior of our house needed painting and Hutch-N-Son did a great job all the way through. Although they had the best price of the four companies we interviewed, there was no part of the process where the work felt rushed or where shortcuts were taken. Pete Hutchinson was great to work with, and so was his crew, who were efficient, thorough, friendly, quiet, attentive to every detail and very skilled at what they do. And, once they started the job, they were there every working day at the same time until everything was completed.

Great. Very satisfied with the completed project. Pete is a pleasure to work with and his employees are very professional. About a week after completion, I called Pete to tell him of a couple of small areas that I thought could use touching up. The men he sent decided to repaint the entire wall in question, rather than just the areas I was concerned about at no additional charge. I am very pleased with the completed work.

Excellent workmanship, workers very polite and clean, they moved furniture. Every aspect was perfect. Arrived each morning on time and gave me the plan each day when leaving for next days work. Spring rains delayed starting of my project. Pete was very helpful with suggestions for my projects that needed to be done. More than satisfied when the work was completed. 3 days work. They even moved the refrigerator, washer and dryer and cleaned under them while there. I was a little embarrassed but they didn’t mind at all. They used Sherwin Williams paint perfect for each job. I have done a lot of painting but not able to now and the price was appropriate. Can’t say enough good things.

Hutch-n-Sons did an excellent job! I couldn’t have asked for a more professional crew! I had a very difficult time finding a painter/stainer to do the job. I called 4 others on the recommendation of the door installer, but no one was available. Pete, the owner, was incredibly easy to work with! I called him on Friday morning & he was able to have a crew out by Friday afternoon. They prepped the entry way & got right to work. They sanded and applied conditioner to the wood door. They came back on Saturday morning to finish since the conditioner had to dry. They stained the door & applied a coat of polyurethane. They also painted the door frame. Overall it was a great experience!

I talked to them over the phone, and emphasized the need to quote and start work as soon as in 1 week. The appointment was made 4 days later. On the afternoon of the appointment for estimate, I got a call from the office stating that they were not coming and had to reschedule to following Monday, which is 3 days after the planned start date. I called back, and no one picked up the phone. Trying to leave message and the voice mail was full. This is not professional behavior.

There are not enough wonderful things I can say about our experience with Hutch-N-Son. We had cabinets repaired and painted, popcorn ceilings removed, and painted ever surface of our kitchen, hall, bathroom, and laundry room. They are more than reasonably priced and they do amazing quality work. Pete is great to work with and his crew is absolutely the best. They are fast, detail oriented, and I cannot express the quality of work and how impeccable it is. To say my cabinets needed a pick me up is the understatement of the year. Original to the home (1980), they were in terrible shape and they look brand new now. I don't even know that I pictured how great they would come out. The work they did in my pantry was fantastic! I had 32 inch deep shelves that were a terrible use of space and now I have a walk in pantry! It's rare to find painters that do both exceptional painting AND carpentry skills. I think I stood in the kitchen every day they were here admiring the work. I can't believe the transformation. It's like we removed a sepia filter. I love the work and I'm grateful my husband found them on Angie's list- they are a great company!

The job was excellent in all respects! I received a quick response to my request and after a few short questions, a quick, competitive bid for the job. I was very specific on the date and Pete showed up exactly on time with his crew. They went right to work and the results look fantastic! They cleaned up afterwards and were gone in a flash. I could not be more pleased and would definitely recommend them for interior paint jobs.

Pete and his crew were outstanding. They were extremely polite AND arrived on time every day. We had both walls and ceilings done and have crown molding in most rooms. We also have one room with two story high ceiling (about 30' high) which required scaffolding. The put down heavy matting so not to damage the floors. They did an excellent job around all the trim and the walls. The paint they used covered very well! They also repaired any flaws in the walls. I've attached pictures that show how they covered everything. We do plan on using them again to do exterior

The project was the Master bedroom and bath. Drywall was patched and textured after relocating light fixtures in the bath area. The bath cabinets were painted, along with an accent wall. Other wall areas in the bedroom were repaired as needed. The entire bedroom and vaulted ceiling was painted. Excellent results! The crew was punctual, courteous and contentious. They cleaned up every day, and took the steps to protect our floors and furniture.

Pete replied to my initial contact and from that point on everything went smooth. His bid, willingness to work with my schedule (since I already had company arriving) and his crew, were all outstanding. They were prompt, hard working, neat, and experienced! We cannot say enough wonderful things about this company! I have never seen so much care taken in the prep work before the painting began. They arrived on time, every day, and when they were finished our kitchen was spotless, and looked beautiful. Pete and his crews are the best. Timely, courteous, considerate, professional, and exceeded our expectations. This is not our first time with Hutch-N-Son, and we will not hesitate to call them again when we need paint or drywall again!
