We purchased furniture from them, I guess three months ago.When they began to sell it, they sell for saga. We bought a set of furniture from them,with cellophane and bottle of feet. We bought three different tables, coffee table and the main table. They did deliver the furniture and there were people deliver loft, we've began expecting a furniture. There was staples on the floor, when the furniture had began to fell apart and the staples are coming out of the furniture.This is from removing it from tracking into the house.This was a spring taking out from the back of the sofa. I am pretty sure, I can not let it to happen. Yeah, and the furniture that they delivered did not look like the furniture that they had on display in the store. What they had on display is undeniably that the things that they had on the floor, that they are actually reach out to look a lot better, that was delivered to our home. They delivered to what i never even purchased. It wasn't even symmetrical. Furniture suppose to be symmetrical. I was really dissapointed with that. And out of the four pieces they delivered only one piece was ok. Although, I said the pieces that something wrong with them, either there was a spring with the log feet, the table had manufacturing defect. There were secondary shelf undeneth the table top, it was not even leveled. It was attached at an angle which does not the way it looks suppose to be. Suppose to be straight. It was not something delievered well the pieces of furniture that bringing away to fit for its shelf. The secondary shelf we are making point. And it does not anyway that I could adjusted. It was welded in place at an angled and this frustrate that the table we've paid, i mean they didnt even look appropriate. I mean maybe the quality you should atleast be able to make it look good. They didn't even got that alright, it didnt look like it was good. Another is the couch that doesn't even symmetrical, one side is higher than the other side. It was very dissapointing to get the furniture look nice from the showroom and get to your home it was junk. However, it is suppose to be much more of the skill. So, we called them and said we got a string problem, the furniture doesnt look like what we have ordered, we wanted to come back and take the three pieces away and bring the pieces, because we can't use this furniture that you've delivered. And they delivered new furniture and we had thesame issues the spring, again it wasn't symetrical, didn't look like the same furniture that we've ordered.Very dissapointing. At that point we said look, we gonna pick another sofa because the people that bringing the set of furniture will get something else that not you sell. And then they said ok. And we ordered another set and delivered it and the sofa, a glue all over the seat. Yeah, so you sit down and pick up everything and after the couple of days there were a big black blots on beige feet from where everytime you sat down, the glue pick up the color of whatever you wear when you sat there. uhm. We called them you know, uhm actually we went over there and said that we got, before the delivery people left, any notice the glue? This is unacceptable that you dont needed have to seat. And she said, ohh i can pick that out of. Will glue cleaner can even do it, i said it was glue, i mean that wether you clean it, it was glue.And that i said maybe, we can get another one that don't have a big spot of glue on it. We paid forthat something reasonable, thought it is very reasonable, then she said ok. Then soemone called me and said, I heard you might want a technicaian to fix your problem. I said that's not actually correct, I wanted someone to come out and bring me self of a dozen set without glue spot on it, because technician can't even fix it. She said, ohh ok will do that. Then she called, you know what the furniture that you want we dont have anymore, maybe you can come back later and not sure you can get it, maybe a couple of weeks. So, we wait and hoping to bring another one. And now the furniture that we have doesn't even smell like leather, smell like dog, to kid you not, that furniture is i dont know. Out of cushioning. It is uhm. dissapointing. The people really hard to connect with their customer.

This place has real nice pieces and there is a lot to choose from. The sales people were very classy and know their pieces very well. I was very pleased with the entire sales aspect and the sales people were very customer service oriented.
Description of Work: I purchased a new formal dining room set with 4 chairs, a china cabinet and a matching mirror.

Description of Work: Purchase of bedroom furniture. Customer service and delivery personnel were excellent, however store personnel, including management, did not reveal discrepancies in the quality of merchandise and lied about the replacement of the defective merchandise. Have traded with Haverty's for several years and purchasing several thousands of dollars of merchandise. Today they are 'toast'.

Haverty's was polite and very professional. They called each time after delivery and were not defensive or bothered that we wanted replacements. Their customer phone service number is efficient and prompt. The salesman in the store (Duffy) was also helpful, professional, and not too pushy. This is the second time we have purchased furniture from this store and location. We will definitely use them again. They actually do put the customer first!
Description of Work: Delivered sofa and loveseat. Redelivered identical replacements 2 times until we were satisfied. We used the 1 week no-hassle reselect because the sofa had some stitching coming undone and loveseat had a small tear. Second delivery had white marks on the sofa. They then said they would have a supervisor check the next delivery for quality. Last delivery was all good.
