I went out of town and left him the key to the home. Before we left he had incorrectly installed half the floor. He agreed and said he would fix the floor while we were away at no cost. We did incur a new cost based on a new process he used to fix the creaking. We paid him in full with the assumption he would correct the problem while we were away. When we got back we immediately saw all the baseboards improperly installed. All wood was joined incorrectly, there are gaps and all the wood creeks. He did not put down proper casing at the doors leaving gaps in all our doors. We had a column that he neither textured nor painted. He has ruined our floors. He worked for two more days after we got back, and went on vacation for a week. He took all his tools with him. He did not come back after this vacation and he will not return any calls. We are left with a mess. The wood is ruined, there is paint everywhere, and we are left without the money and a lot of work to do.
